Nisha, You have changed the way I backcomb my hair forever!!! I tried the hairbrush thing and will never bother with all my different specialty backcomb combs again. I was SO AMAZED!!! Quite shocked actually. I've been backcombing my hair for years and years, but what a difference the brush makes, and it gives MUCH more volume. And more gentle I think. Thanks so much! Love your videos!

Reminds me of the '80s!! Loved big huge hair!! Here in the US we had a brand of hair spray called Aqua Net!! I would use practically a can a day on my hair!! Your hair here looks so soft and shiney!! Glad for you to have found tools that make it easier to get the right look!! Best Wishes My Darling!!

I love your hair. Good job in how you backcomb your hair. I also love big hair. But I usually wear mine in a high bun. I think I am going to go back and do my hair big. Thank you for sharing. You are also beautiful!

Nisha, I love big hair and I am so grateful that you showed this video. I'm going to try to find one of those little brushes with the balls on it and try this technique. I like to wear my hair straight, but the crown pretty big. I have the Bedhead Masterpiece and I really like it, so I'm going to give this a go. Thanks so much and great video! Love to you, Melissa

I love your videos. You are an invitation to all of us, who have trouble, thin hair. I'm still learning to tease my hair, because I love big hair too. Unfortunately, it never looks as good as yours, but I try. The back of my head, seems to be my problem area. I can't seem to fluff my hair where it needs to be. But as I said, I'm still trying. Keep making these videos. They do help so much. Thank you !!!!!

Hi Nisha, I don't comment much, but watch quite often and enjoy you so much! I have wanted to see how u back comb for quite sometime as I have such trouble doing this! You make it look so easy and I am hoping I can do this now. I know one thing I did the opposite was I sprayed the section of hair before I teased instead of like u doing it after, I will sure try this. Maybe sometime, if it is possible, u could show how u do that section in the back, where u had to leave for a bit to do it, I have alto of trouble with that area as it seems to just get knotted into this big ball! Again, great video and u are just so beautiful!

Hello There! I LOVE Big Hair too! I also use a brush, I find that it grabs more hair and I can tease better and quicker! I, like you, have fine heavy dense hair, but lies flat to my head. Not attractive. I love curly, wavy, and big hair. My hair is straight too. Thank you for video, you are a beautiful lady! God Bless..

Hi Sugar Puff, I did this. My hair looked great something like yours, like a mini Siouxsie and the Banshees look but I immediately lost many chunks of hair and it took a whole year to grow back. I was kinda sad and I am scared to lose hair again. I did it again recently and I still lost hair. I wanna do it again without repeating the mistake and losing tufts of hair. What am I doing wrong? I only use hairspray later when the hair is up, not even using any hair gel. Could I have sprayed too much hair spray towards the end? But it wouldn't hold up throughout the night, no? I''m not sure, please help. Thanks. I did it to my husband's hair, his hair was kinda limpy throughout the night but he didn't lose any hair. I did the same technique. My hair kinda lacks volume too so even if I don't wanna go for a big look, I would like to be able to do this hair everyday without losing hair. Thanks!

Just to let you know that nails have cuticles and hair has cortex and follicles and shaft if I remember correctly from my hair dressing course at college 20n years ago lol. I'm not being a hater, I just wanted to inform you. I love your hairstyle and yes back combing isn't good for hair so don't do it too regular. If you want BIG/FUll hair, you are best off with a mouse (hair that is) to give what's know in the hairdressing field as volume and use a big round brush and blow dry on a medium heat into the roots. Oh and use the diffuser too as this can also add volume, use in a circular motion. Very popular in the 80's for volume scrunch drying.
