This is song really gives me SHINee vibes and it is on track with 2nd gen songs! NCT DREAM even said that this was not their style and I love they do different songs each comeback, and everytime I am blown away! I really loved the choreo for this song it hits so HARD and the rap is FIRE plus the vocals are HEAVENLY.

By now I know it is pointless to have expectations about an NCT release so I just prefer to let it all wash over me and not worry too much about liking or not liking anything right away. I am in the camp of people who really enjoy listening to this track and who feel a lot of nostalgia or familiarity when I hear it. It feels like the kpop that I first started listening to and it definitely feels like an SMP track down to its little dancing toes :D While listening to the album as a whole I mostly just thought how much they continue to grow and improve and just how much I am enjoying watching that happen. Love it!

tbh mark's undercut is too much to handle for me :')) but anyway, i agree with your opinion about how this song feels like new chapter for NCT DREAM. It's just because of how the way it sounds, the experimental music's drop, and the concept are unfamiliar for the taste of dreamies. But we gotta admit, they're growing old and become more mature by the time with us, so it's a normal way for them to sometimes try something new. When i watch the MV for the first time, it's no doubt that i actually prefer broken melodies over this one, but yeah it's still shocking in some parts hahaha. Broken melodies definitely moved me for every.single.aspects. From the MV, the sounds, the lyrics, the anthem vibe, the harmonies, ugh i can't get enough to listen to this song on repeat every day. anyway, it's OOT but the way you admiring nana at 11:38 is sooo adorable hahaha you're such a mood! thankyou for reacting on this one

I agree with everything u said, especially the part of this being a very new more grown style (both conceptually and with the song structure) for the dreamies. And honestly, it’s fitting. NCT Dream are imo in their golden era rn or something. I mean with the generation turning and 5th gen on the rise, a whole new generation of kpop fans are being introduced to nct. And the dreamies have been dropping hit after hit; the members are young, the concepts are fresh, the consistency and recent world tour - - im honestly so excited for them rn because they are absolutely devouring this new eea of kpop! And while I do feel a little bit sad bc it feels like 127 is entering that stage where comebacks are fewer and far between (plus military service looming over our heads like a curse 😐), after listening to ISTJ it makes me so excited for their music in the future.
