Wow, Perrie is honestly so incredible. I suffer from anxiety and for the last couple of months it has gotten so much worse but I can not imagine what it is like when having a job like this. I can not go anywhere without my mum or nan and at college if my closest friends are not in and I am alone I can not deal with it. Sometimes I can not even pay for something myself in a shop. 99% of what she said is what i have experienced and what I currently am, this has helped me so much because even though I do not want anyone else to go through it, this reminds me that Perrie is human and is going through it as well, I am not alone. I just want to sit her down, give her a massive hug and let her know that I understand and how much she has helped me. I am so bloody proud of my angel💖

I was at work and this older man was yelling at me, and I am NOT good AT ALL with confrontation, and after he left I ran to the bathroom, went into the stall and broke down crying, I couldn't see a thing. I couldn't breathe, my heart was beating erratically, my head was pounding, and my legs wouldn't work, I had to crawl to close and lock the door, my hands were shaking soooo bad. I had to stay there for like 3 minutes, then splashed cold water on my face, which barely helped but I had to work. It SUCKS! I thought I was going to die, my panic attack has never gotten that bad. When I was having physical attacks, there were times when I would be home alone. When I didn’t have anyone to help talk me through the attack, I would write it all down. I’d also repeat to myself “it’s just a panic attack, I am safe, I am ok”. I haven’t had a physical attack in years now. I’ve come close to them, but because I’ve practiced all these techniques I can quickly snap myself out of it. Hopefully this helps someone

I love Perrie, she's the most adorable sunshine in the world 💖 I have anxiety too and it's really terrifying, I had some panic attacks last year, but differently than her I would freak out to be around people, I just wanted to be alone and cry. I'm much better now, actually watching little mix funny/cute moments is what helped me. I loved becoming a mixer, I love little mix, they are just girls who have their feelings and insecurities, but still strong and hard working superstars, they're such an inspiration to me. And btw who would say freckles were going to be a makeup technic and Perrie have them naturally.

I really love how open she was in this interview, she didn’t hold back and she really does show that no matter how bubbly and outgoing a person you might be that this can still happen to you, I was shocked to hear what she’d been dealing with behind closed doors, you kind of think because they’re famous and gorgeous and have all this money that they’re happy and haven’t got any worries, but it takes a strong person to live a life in the public eye, especially going through issues with mental health.

Poor Perrie, didn't know she was going through this. I've been suffering with anxiety for a couple of years and it can be really hard. For me it's the opposite, sometimes I just cannot be around people, even if I love them. I feel like my head and my heart are going to explode and I just want to disappear. I SOOOO feel similar to Perrie. I started getting panic attacks in grad school and had no idea what was going on. They were daily and every time I left the house and wasn’t at home. 2-3 years later life is totally different and attacks are manageable. It’s such a journey but in the moment it feels like you are dying. Thanks for talking about it Perrie!

I had no idea she had anxiety! This is so inspiring for me, because when I was 11 years old I used to have panic attacks pretty much every single morning because I was just so anxious about going to school, so there was nothing I could do about it. I'm 13 now, and I'm just so glad I still don't have that.

She's really that person i relate to and would love to have around bc she's just THAT delightful and comfortable to be with. I've been wanting to know more about it ever since she confessed she'd gone through panic attacks , even moreso because of the fact that she's often cheerful & lively...so seeing this in my recommendations i straight up screamed ! It's smth you kinda self-sooth your way through , there isn't really a formula, but venting is a major YES , with time you develop a stronger mentality, you hold on to a reassuring thought you firmly believe in & it'll serve as an off-switch to those bad thoughts haunting you. Can i just say....this was somewhat therapeutic ! Learning that someone knows the feeling...the shaking , the surreal vision , the overwhelming haunts , the magnified fears...it's strangely reassuring. Bless her heart 💖 may it be blissful from now on~
