@@Nickie870 we have Dove it's very good and affordable, in my relaxed days I used a lot of dark n lovely. Dr Miracles but I don't use any of that, lots of Organic root stimulator and a few tresemme products. Aunty Jackie's and Palmer's are also reasonable and are more accessible Your drugstore products like cantu, Aussie miracle, Shea moisture and OGX are available but are so expensive it's crazy. Carol's daughter is priced for the rich I think it's triple the American price here, I don't know anyone who buys it that's how expensive it is. We don't even have gots2be 😂😂😭😭... So I'm now looking at buying everything on Amazon, hopefully shipping and import taxes won't add up..

I live in Kenya and I understand your struggle for us shea moisture is for the rich..Cantu is what everyone uses and can get quite easily...the bigger problem is actually getting the products ..because they are just stocked in specific stores in the country.but we do have some Kenyan made brands for natural hair ...good ones but then overpriced..so it’s quite easier to buy imported ones...it’s a struggle.

Learned if I scrunch there’s no need to shingle - but that gives me more shrinkage. Im also learning to add more product - it helps the product set on the hair better

I still haven’t used any of the kinky curly products. I need to try them see if my hair will respond to not shrinking as much after I wash it. Because I can’t do a wash n go for nothing with my shrinkage

I've never looked into the kinky curly products but what would help at least a little bit with shrinkage is looking at the ingredients of the products you use and the weather. For the longest time I'd be heavy handed with products that contained *glycerin* for my wash and gos on humid days. It took me a while to realize that that made my shrinkage ridiculous!
