if you go to Kelvingrove it is a must to see the painting Christ of Saint John of the Cross by Salvador Dalí (back on show as of feb 2023)........i first saw it in 1985 as a young man and was gob smacked .......its the type of painting you can sit and look at for hours.

So much to see, too much to mention David 🤔. Such amazing buildings. Thought the Glasgow Cathedral was beautiful . Love that Gothic look, and the wonderful old cemetery. Enjoyed that music while you were filming the cemetery. What would that be ? If I was in Glasgow I’d go see Kelvin Grove ! Plenty to see there.

Thanks Maxine, yes Glasgow really is a wonderful city to visit and there’s so much to see & do. Although I was born & bred in Edinburgh, I adore Glasgow and I think it has visitor attractions that are every bit the equal of Edinburgh. Kelvingrove is an amazing museum and the building itself very beautiful. I can also recommend a tour of the City Chambers. The interior is stunningly beautiful and one of my fav buildings in Scotland. The views of the Cathedral from the Necropolis are also worth the climb up. Hope you're all well and you enjoy my favourite things to see & do in Glasgow. It's a fabulous city and I can really recommend staying a couple of days, so you don't have to rush around. Remember that Glasgow has an underground, which is a really convenient way to get around the city centre and the West End. Many attractions are free, particularly the museums and galleries, which is pretty amazing. Autumn has arrived here in Scotland, the temperatures are starting to fall, as are the leaves. Some of the golds, reds and yellows in the trees are so beautiful and hopefully I can capture a bit of that for you in the next few weeks.
