correct about the pubs in ehouse griers shut down leaving the bridge commonly known as the brig ...and thats either on the outskirts or border so the rest down other end go too mcguires in bar/l will see most griers punters there.

The avenue you are talking about is Garbraid it's on the right hand side,it's opposite Lochburn rd. Btw the car sitting in front of you at lights before you take a left to Shiskine drive,I couldn't stop laughing at the 1st 2 letters and last letter of his regi plate 🤣🤣

Interesting one for me and the missus,she was born just off Maryhill rd and moved to garthamloch when she was 10.those houses on the right at 36.23 was where she lived and she is happy they didn't pull them down..lol

Bilsland close is where Mr Simpsons grocery shop was and the Dummy railway and on theother side of the Dummy railway bridge was the taly chippy then they were all demolished and the pub was built. I forget what the pub was called.
