What you say here is very true. They should be a bit friendlier to watch geeks visiting Grashutte since those geeks clearly acknowledge worker’s hard work. Keep updating great videos!

Disappointing that there was more newish stuff at the museum. Didn't Mühle have a nice display there at one point?

Thanks for sharing your experience. Im sorry to hear it was not positive.. Perhaps a little preparation ahead of time might have resulted in a different experience? I have corresponded directly with Christine Hutter, CEO of Moritz Grossman who has offered me a personal tour if I make my way to the city in the future. Christine has had an incredible career path, one I wish I could have taken. Their watchmaking is just astounding and a grail brand for me. I just purchased a GO Panomatic Lunar and would love to pay the ateliers a visit to experience a dream of mine that's nearly 30yrs old now. Sitting at a watchmaking bench and seeing the century old machines still used today in a renowned brand...well, it would be an emotional experience for me. I've also been personally invited to visit SUF in Helsinki if I can make my way back there. I use to travel to Helsinki monthly with my job. I can't wait to start traveling to Europe again as I do plan to take them up on their generous offers.

As I said in the video we called different companies ahead of time and only got refusals. I literally see now way how I could talk to a CEO of any company there when even the secretary told us that a tour or anything like it is impossible. Generally your experience sounds more like you spent a lot of money on their watches and now they talk to you and invite you (correct me if I‘m wrong here). I emphasized the perspective of „normal“ people in this video and sadly your experience isn‘t what 95% of people get. Don‘t get me wrong here I‘m really happy for you and a tad envious.

I had a similar experience. It's nice to say I've made the pilgrimage to Glashutte but overall the experience was unrewarding.
