Something about glass animals, most of the time the lyrics are made to sound good, and not necessarily tell a story. This album is the exception. Definitely check out songs from Zaba

Glass Animals have released two albums so far: Zaba and How to Be a Human Being. Both have interesting concepts behind them. Zaba is very psychadelic in it's core with a sort of tribal jungle-esque vibe. A lot of the lyrics are almost nonsesical in meaning, but provide a certain atmosphere with their sound. Meanwhile, How to Be a Human Being is a collection of songs that tell stories about different people that are portrayed on the album cover, some of which are inspired by the people the band met on their travels. So in a way, the two albums are very distinctly different, but still retain the band's signiture synthy pop sound. Their third album, Dreamland, is coming out next Friday. Some songs if you want to delve deeper into their discography: from HTBAHB - The Other Side of Paradise, Agnes, Poplar St. and from Zaba - Flip, Black Mambo, Hazey; and a single from Dreamland - Your Love (Deja Vu).
