If you have an average number, then glass is best. Even the cheapest variety is better than the most expensive plastic lens. To get the same level of clarity like in glass, you have to get expensive coatings in plastic. Also plastic is good only because its lightweight and less breakable, but glass is easy to clean with any cloth..whereas plastic will get badly scratched if you clean with any cloth. Now frankly its not practical to keep that chamois material to clean plastic lens in your pocket all the time, so the lens starts to get scratched and soon your lens will start collecting a lot of scratches and then you wont enjoy using it much. but glass if taken care will outlast you.

Apani eyes ka check up every year karwate rahe sometimes hum log 2, 3 saal ka gap kar dete hai aur number jyada increase ho jata hai. Scratches bhi ek reason ho sakta hai because you are not able see clearly through that lens and it put pressure on eyes.
