Quick question the shower door should it be cantered on the threshold. Would it affect performance or create any issues if it’s on the edge, flush with tiles and threshold.

This install features handheld shower head, so that’s sealing stripe on hinge side is needed. There will be numerous of times when owner awkwardly point handheld shower head to opposite wall resulting in puddle on other side of curb.

I thought building code prohibited in-swing doors in a shower because if someone fell, the in-swing door is a hindrance to rescue. Is this hinge to code because is swings inward and outward?

ADA standards this bathroom would not work….too small of a bathroom. Not sure what code would be referencing door swing like this. But you raise a good point about a potential hazard if you had a swing in only door 👍

The hinges work in both directions. If someone fell in the shower anyone could just pull it open ?

The door includes a weather strip that the door rests against when closed. It’s not supposed to be installed where it can be pushed in for the vast majority of installations.

Please tell us, with the Redi tile shower base with bench, and deciding to use a knee wall for the seat instead of a structural wall to cover the end of the shower bench. Where does one get the glass for atop this knee wall, and how is it integrated into the rest of the shower wall

Curious if your customer noted it being needed with water splashing. Wife wants our hinges at same end and curious if they were needed. Thank you.

I want to reuse my old glass shower doors. but I need new frame or rails. where would I go to find those. I looked at major hardware stores but can't seem to find the parts. Or am are they called something else? i need the bottom and side frames where the glass sits on.

Please help, how does the slope of the curb toward the shower affect the door install? Wouldn't that make the bottom bracket off? Or is it adjustable? I'm about to tile my curb but don't want to interfere with the aston door im using.

I was able to tweak mine a bit to counter the slope on the curb. No problem!

Aren’t the anchors required even when attaching directly to studs? The instructions seems to indicate you need to use them and drill into studs, but I may be mistaken

so many things in this video are wrong, those cheap plastic strips that hold your glass in place are no good after time they deteriorate and come loose dont use them, the gap from the door to wall is way too large, the plastic looks terrible between door and fixed panel, get a proper system not this cheap one, also silicone is wrong
