OMG you have no idea how much this changed my life!!! My glasses were so tight on the bridge, I didn't realize it was causing a tear duct blockage....around my eyes became swollen within a month & 2 months later red & bloodshot. I just adjusted them now & they feel so light on my nose AND My ears...no more lashes touching my lenses & no more sliding!!! LIFE SAVER!!!!!! Thank you.

Seriously this has been amazing to watch thank you. I went to the optician twice to try to fix them and they made it WORSE. After doing the hairdryer and thumb combo my glasses are feeling better. I couldn't find the elastic band trick video.

Thanks for the great tips! Yes, I could go to the optical shop but it's a hassle to go multiple times because 1 time never does it for me. I used your ideas as I was watching and my glasses already feel better on my nose!

Thank you soooooo much!!!!! I just did the adjustment with my thumb and it fixed my issue - I get so annoyed with my glasses sliding off everytime my hands are full carrying something or doing dishes. I've got a draw full of glasses that I can try your tips on - thank you soooooo much. You have definitely made my day :)

This is amazing! I was so looking forward to my new pair of glasses until I tried them on and thought I would have to return them because they sat on my cheeks :( I’ve always struggled to find glasses that fit as an Asian, and now thanks to you I’m able to enjoy them more!

omg thank you so muchh, i don't think people are well informed about this in my country so the frames available would just slide down my small nose. I tend to resort to the models with a long metal nose piece but they are just limited by the shape

While doubling up didn't work, it totally put your pupils in the middle of the frame which is my current issue. I'll probably switch to glasses with nose pads so that I can adjust naturally, but I'm going to get these silicon ones in the meantime! Thank you

Thank you so much for catering to Asian faces! Will this trick also work for frames that touch the cheeks? I have a combo of low nose and high cheeks >.
@noonci50622 жыл бұрын
Thank you so much! I do too! The nosepieces are a big part of the right fit. If the nosepieces are set up on the bridge of the nose high enough then the frames shouldn’t touch the cheeks. Hope that helps

How do you use the rubber bands shown on minute 10:10? You only moved the nose pads with your thumbs, what do you do with the rubber band? I'm not Asian, I do have a low bridge and all glasses slip down my nose, it's annoying and it can hurt.
@noonci50622 жыл бұрын
Hi! Hahah you caught my mess up on this video 😅 I forgot to add the rest of that part but I did add it to my “creating custom glasses” video I posted right after this one. Pretty much the rubber bands wrap around the curve of the temple part right before it curves to your ear. That way they create a kind of grip to the head. I’ll post another video soon on more at home tricks and include it there again. Sorry about the confusion!

Thank you for sharing all your tips. Any tips on preventing deep marks on the nose and preventing make up rubbing off around the nose?
@noonci50623 жыл бұрын
Hi Asian Angie! I like the name 😄 if the glasses fit well and are adjusted properly they shouldn’t leave deep marks on the nose. Usually the plastic ones need to be tightened in the temples and curled more around the ears. For the metal ones with nose pieces they might need the same adjustment but also the nose pads can be widened too. For preventing makeup from rubbing off, I use a lot of face finishing powder right where the nose pieces rest. First, I blot my nose then I use a good layer of powder on top. Hope that’s helpful!

Thank you so much! Very well done video, clear, concise and perfect demonstrations. Appreciate your help! I did come across u shaped strap nose bridges on Amazon which creates a band from one nose piece to the other, this helped me some but not on the glasses that did have screws in the nose pad. I loved the idea of spreading the nose pads and tightening the bridges.
@noonci50622 жыл бұрын
Thank you so much! I’m happy it was helpful! That’s interesting what you’ve found with the bands for the nose pads. I’ve always had to replace my screw on nose pads with large, extra soft silicone ones. They feel better in my nose and spreads out the weight because my prescription is really high.

@noonci50622 жыл бұрын
Definitely could happen. The best way to adjust metal nose pads is going very slow and making micro adjustments at a time. Holding the frames in the middle creates more stability than on the ends. You can also ask your neighborhood optical for adjustments too

The link to the nose pads is 2mm Is that the size you recommend? I noticed there were other nose pad options and sizes as well. I wouldn’t even know what size I’d need.
@noonci50622 жыл бұрын
The nose pads listed are a good length for most frames. You might need a thicker one depending on how much of a lift you need off your nose. I would suggest a thicker one if your nose bridge doesn’t have much bone support
@narygreene40732 жыл бұрын
Oh Thank you for replying back. Your response makes me feel better that I put the order in. I had decided to take a chance and ordered the 2mm nose pads from the link you provided a couple days before your reply.

What style of glasses do you recommend with a dress with tall boots.
@noonci50623 жыл бұрын
I would say it would depend on the color and style of the boots and dress. For a flowery flirty dress with cowboy boots I imagine a pink and brown marbled round keyhole acetate frame. Super girly and flirty. But let’s say it’s a tight sweater dress with black leather thigh high boots, I imagine bold all black squarish cat eye acetate frames for a sultry look. So I would probably pick glasses that match the theme and feel you’re going for with your look. I hope that answered your question 🥴
