Thanks for the video. This is what I was looking for. All other videos only give the total PD measurement instructions for both eyes, while this one teaches the individual PD measuring.

notice how the hand moves the ruler, since it is not anchored - leading to a poor reading. another (better) KZbin video shows the person holding the ruler anchoring their hand by placing one finger (of the hand holding the ruler) against the forehead.

Is it really recommended not to look in a mirror when measuring your own PD?

Where do you get ruler? No instruction on that. Also, sound track made me hit " mute" button. Could not continue with annoying sound plus no tool provided. Useless.

hmmm just pay the ten pounds and get a correct PD... or ask your eye doctor for it. They can pull it off of the phoropter.
