Watching your vid to Glasson reminded me of a story a friend told me, he had just bought a brand new Norton Commando 1977 Silver Jubilee (S REG) I think it was a limited edition for her majesty the Queen's silver jubilee that year. He took his new pride and joy out for a spin on Sunday the 31st July the day before the new regs came out. Park up at Glasson Dock for a brew, as you do, time to go home and walking back towards the bike he saw a young chap look at the bike crouched down at the side of the bike as my friend got closer to the bike the young boy isn't looking at the bike he was use a nail to scratch name in the fuel tank. Being a little upset my friend shouted the young chap spun around to receive a punch on the nose which exploded. I do hope that young man learnt a valuable lesson Happy Days

Then because of my job as a motorcycle paramedic, went up to a BMW K75, a R1200RT and Honda Pan European ad work bikes and now my current personal bike is a 2006 Bandit 1200.

Good to see and hear you again. You've had a good range of bikes and it was great to hear you say about turning the handlebars upsidedown on your FSE1. I was wondering that too. I think it's an LS2 Valiant FF399.

@@stephenmundane Yes Steve (and Rory), it's the LS2 Valiant - a very versatile helmet. It's easily the most comfortable lid I've owned and is legal to ride open or closed. If the bike doesn't have a screen, it's comfortably quiet, open or closed though I always wear ear plugs. If you have a screen and generally get buffeted by it, the helmet will amplify it, but then most helmets are the same.
