We parked St. John's car park, then we used The Monarch Way to go to the High Street. There was a lovely small vegan cafe which smelled so good, but I had no time to go there. Our goal was Glastonbury Tor.
We chose to take a bus which took us closer to the hill. My son complained about pain in his legs, so it was a helpfull servis they provide. We paid around £10 for the return ticket. The bus starts at the St Dunstan's Car Park, which is next to the Abbey ruins. We didn't visit this site, but according their website:

The bus took us to the east side of the hill and left back to the town. It goes every 30 minutes, so we did not worry about the time.
We had lovely and sunny weather and the visibility was spectacular.
It was a little bit windy at the top, but nothing horrible.
We didn't do a longer stop in the town as we had a different plan, but it would be lovely ( especially for us girls ) as we saw a lot of shops with gemstones, jewellery etc. ...
