Hi Ryan, at 37:00 you can't add the presence (for the skip) to G2 when you target G2 for the defence. You can only add to adjacent lands of G2. Instead of adding strife to G3 you could strife the build town in G2. So no different outcome 😊.

Yeah it's situational. Yesterday I played a Game with roots against HME. For roots it's an easy threshold and you normally always have destroyed presences for the skip part.
