Wouldn't it be better to have an empty that moves ahead of the camera so that you can use a damped tracking constraint? No need for keyframing

I think that would improve the setup, yeah.

Good call, thanks!

um, you don't have to update the count of the array modifier, but set it from "Fixed Count" to "fit curve". That setting is there exactly for this really procedural use case. Cheers!

I just tried that, but it didn't work for some reason. It fit the single segment to the beginning of the curve, but didn't extend it.

@@shrimpkins Maybe make sure all scales are applied?
@shrimpkinsАй бұрын
@@TechnicJelle It's not that; but I'll keep tinkering with it.

Hi Gleb! Great tuto. I think tho that you missed just one little thing: there is some choppiness in the cam movement, it's probably a good idea to increase the curve subdivs to 128 for example

I followed this sorta closely, not exactly. Fun stuff, except my hallway gets pinched to zero width over part of one bend of the curve, and again at the end of the curve. I'm using NURBS not Bezier, if that matters. It bends around in all three dimensions, not constrained to the XY plane. Blender 4.2.1. Maybe the local basis vector triad isn't being properly parallel transported along the curve, or not turning with the bends, something like that. Maybe I have some goofy setting somewhere, but nothing looks amiss. A mystery!
