Agabbieshow personally I thought the troubletones were extremely good, but I didn't think they were better than the New Directions. I think they were just as good, though. They had a lot of really good background dancers, something the New Directions didn't have a lot of the time. However I do agree that Mr. Shue did show favoritism to Racehl/Blaine/Finn, but I blame that less on Mr. Shue than I do on Ryan Murphy and the creators of the show. Ryan Murphy singled out Lea and Cory as the "leads" of this show, so he tended to show them a lot of favoritism. He's also pretty close with Darren and Chris, which is why they also got a lot of screen time.

Glee Gal don't you understand that Santana has self-esteem/family issues? It's textbook relationship-sabatage because of those self-esteem issues. Her relationship with the Glee club is erratic (push/pull) but it clearly comes from a desperate need for acceptance and a fear of being abandoned. That's how I understand Santana's behavior. I'm not saying it JUSTIFIES her mean behavior, but it does help explain it. A lot of people act out/behave badly because of trauma in their past (insert headcanon here), but it just goes to show that Will's tactic here was really unhelpful to Santana. That just confirms her beliefs about being unloved.

Yeah Santana was the best in my opinion and I liked Mercedes voice, though not all of her performances. Rachel is awful at singing honestly. The only thing she has going for her, in terms of performing, is her "confidence" thanks to her narcissism. If she were even 1/4th as talented as she believed, they wouldn't have lost every time she forced her solo/lead in performances. Mr. Shue was awful the entire time. He refused to update his music style for the longest time and then favors the weakest links in the club.

Of course they won Nationals. That whole team was a friggin’ powerhouse with the addition of Blaine, Sam, and later on Rory and Joe (even though the last two didn’t do shit 😂). This Glee club roster was the best their ever was, also why Season 3 is my personal favorite.

I would be fine with the fact that Santana got kicked out if Rachel had gotten kicked out for sending Sunshine to a crackhouse. Sunshine could have died. And I do think it was right to suspend Marley bc she didn’t do what she was supposed to do, but considering that Rachel can get away with sending someone to a crackhouse, it seems pretty ridiculous that Marley got suspended

Why didn’t Brittany go after her?! Santana was always sticking up for Brittany any chance she got… they never let Brittany do anything for Santana. Same with when Finn outed her… where was Brittany? They missed so many opportunities! I love how they made Brittany a little ditsy, but there was a point they dumbed her down so much where I know she would have been there for Santana. It just seemed like it was always Santana protecting and standing up for Brittany 😢

Rachel and Santana were both problematic on their own right but I hate how Mr. Schue favors one over the other ALL THE DAMN TIME. He talks about how equality within the group making everyone feel welcome yet he almost always doesn't give the same treatment to everyone the way he does Rachel and Finn (and later Blaine). He's made himself aware of it but he kept on repeating the same thing over and over letting the other members of his club be overshadowed by the leads.
