I feel like in this performance, he was singing to Rachel and Emma. When he spoke about how it was wrong and how the young girl was crazy, that was for Rachel, trying to tell her that it was never going to happen and he wasn't interested. And the temptation part was about Emma since Will looked at her when he sang that. He was trying to convey his feelings for both of them. How Rachel's crush was inappropriate and it would never amount to anything and how he had secret feelings for Emma and wanted to be with her, but couldn't at the time and it drove him nuts. That's what I got from watching the scene.

They sang Endless Love together and while singing together Rachel 'noticed Will for the first time' and she thought, Mr Schue is really cute, she developed a crush on him.
