The push and pull between the ominous sound of the verse and the upbeat tone of the chorus are balanced perfectly. And there is something really special about the mix of this particular song- the snare just pops, guitar sounds are grainy and blendy, synth bass notes are nice and deep, and Sting's voice glides on top of it all like a cool breeze

But I had a friend from the PGCE course at Southampton Uni who was training to teach secondary French and apparently the boys at the Grammar school in Winchester where he did his teaching practise called him ? and eventually when he walked down the corridor would just shout ‘ Woof woof ‘ !!! And on his first day on teaching practise when he asked for their names wrote things like S. Hit etc !!!
