Okay not only was this scene stupid it just didn't make any sense. It's like Rachel didn't even watch west side story, west side story isn't about Maria having a sexual awakening. It not even sexual at all. It's about tony and Maria's love for one another with a brief sex scene and even then it's more implied that they had sex and not even show. In the plays and the movie you just see them kiss in her room, fall to the bed and then it just cuts to black. This scene would have actually made sense for a role like Janet wiss. Who's movie IS about her sexual awakening
