I wish Rachel would've ended up with Mike instead of Jesse. I mean obviously they were gonna put Puck with Quinn and Sam with Mercedes and Tina with Artie. I think although it would've been weird it made more sense than her with Jesse. Mike and Rachel complemented each other. She was best at singing and he was best at dancing, but they both tried to improve upon the opposite part. They both loved ballet. Rachel must find him attractive too since in the episode where they drink, during the Blame it on the Alcohol number at one point she gets clingy with him and feels him up and he us then dragged off by Tina. And he must think highly of Rachel as well, not just because he doesn't cut her down like the others but when Tina threw her fit, Mike defended Rachel and when they were text fighting he called Rachel unique/one-of-a-kind. If nothing else I think they were secret friends.

Actually, he COULD help it. He just didn't WANT to. He was given every opportunity to turn his life around, and get clean and sober. He had the means, and the support, and he didn't do it. Yes, he had an addiction, but he also had friends and family who loved him and wanted to help him, he had the financial means to get himself into a program and get professional help for his problem. There are people with none of that, who still find a reason, and the will to get themselves clean. The fact of the matter is he lacked the strength of will to kick his habit. He lacked conviction. He CHOSE to do those drugs, and they ended up killing him. Saying he's in hell is mean sure, but saying "he had an ad[di]ction he couldn't help it" is just plain wrong, and frankly, smacks of enablement. If you were really a fan of his, you would see that he should have been able to kick it, and didn't, instead of making excuses for the guy like "he couldn't help himself.
