That's actually a very good observation.. You also see it in her interviews as she gives the interviewee her full attention or those that are talking around her.. as if in that moment they are the only thing that matters. It's quite the learned talent there.. Always loved that about her and yeah it would effect the chemistry in major ways.

+Alison Ravenclaw There were so many storylines that they were focusing on already, it would be hard to add in Quinn and the rest of them as well without the show becoming inconsistent and just an overall mess. The switch between the New York storylines and the Lima storylines in s4/ s5 were already sort of messy enough. Adding in Quinn at Yale would just be even worse. The show got a lot better again once they moved over to just the New York storylines.

+CaptainKenzie Or ya know, the truth. For whatever reason Ryan Murphy developed a hate for her that "supposedly" Lea also developed. Case in point, when you look at the Glee casts careers as a whole at that point in time, it was really only Dianna and Lea who had any SIGNIFICANT non Glee related acting jobs. You could also argue that at that point in time with I Am Number 4 and all her subsequent roles (The Family, etc) that it was Dianna who enjoyed the greater career success than even the "star" of Glee, Lea. That hate/jealousy of Ryan and potentially Lea's is what led to Quinn having significantly less screen time in all future seasons.

Quinn has been the most successful of all the cast in terms of branching out. Not only does she have like 6 independent movies coming out, but she was featured in I Am Number Four, The Family, Burlesque, and music video appearances. But her fashion runway work has elevated her above the others in terms of style. I LOVED her character and hated that her final season she was reduced to background

I find Rachel and Quinn similar in many ways. I mean they have complex personalities it's wether you love them or hate them. They both dated Finn, Puck and Sam. They're both controlling and selfish but also very vulnerable, insecure and misunderstood. They don't really have friends (Quinn feels left out when she's w/ Brittany and Santana)... But despite that they're enemies... It's kinda strange if you think about it.

Most of your assessment is very astute, though I don’t necessarily think of Quinn and Rachel as Enemies as much as on the wrong side of social expectations. Personally I don’t think either of them actually disliked the other, but Quinn forced a barrier between them to ensure social status was always maintained. This became such a intricate part of her personality make up I think she couldn’t let it fully go by the time they graduated, though she tried in her own way. The writers of the show missed out on so much story telling opportunities by only focusing on a Finn and Rachel story arch and not giving more attention to Quinn’s character in general. Dianna and Lea played their characters extremely well and had amazing chemistry on screen together, the show could have done so much more with them both. But alas that was not to be. Still Glee had plenty of great episodes anyway.

I think the whole Rachel and Quinn combo took the Glee creators/writers/producers by surprise. Dianna and Lea, had such good chemistry on screen, it was hard to deny it. From what I read and heard there were a lot of scenes with Dianna and Lea that never made the show. It was cut; even Lea said at Comic-Con when her and Dianna would shot a "Quinn and Rachel" scene it would get cut. Towards the end the writers gave both characters separate things to do and really didn't interact. Santana and Brittney were the main female lovers; it wasn't going to happen with Faberry.

I liked the new characters in the school, what I didn't like was the New York part that they've tried to make work out, but it was so horrible that in the final season they just put it aside and focus on the school. The problem was that they have focus on characters that nobody liked like Rachel, Kurt, they suck, the best part of glee was Quinn, Puck, Santana, Britney who have been left out.

Honestly, I don't understand why they fought over Finn. I love Cory (R.I.P), but Finn as a character was a terrible boyfriend and not worth it. He forgot Rachel was a vegan, didn't tell her about sex with Santana (while they weren’t together when he did it, he should’ve told her at some point as she would’ve been thinking he was a virgin like her when they eventually had sex), he broke up with Quinn after a funeral even though for months he kept saying he didn’t want Rachel, proposes to a girl knowing she has dreams of leaving because he's scared of the future and wants something to latch onto. He then doesn’t talk to said fiancée for weeks if not months when he flunks out of boot camp, and then just pops up at her apartment expecting everything in their relationship to work out. Quinn and Rachel could've been friends during their junior year if not for the fact that they both wanted the same guy. They proved that they care about each other their senior year when they try to talk one another out of making a stupid decision that would impact their lives.

Yeah Rachel as a strong voice but, shit, Quinn's voice is so beautiful. Like Angelically beautiful. It's airy and soft. It's super comfortable to the ears.

I loved season 2 because it actually started building certain characters as actual people and not just assholes. This episode in particular because Quinn actually starts building her sisterhood with Rachel because of her nose and how Rachel wants to be "pretty like Quinn" and how the other characters support her to stay the way she is, including Puck who was the biggest dick in the series for the most part.

Something about this song gets to me every time, everybody can relate to it. Especially girls. I guess it’s the mix of “I’m pretty” and “I also feel like I’m not enough”. It’s like trying to be confident with yourself and knowing you’re value but still having that insecurity complex that you can’t get rid of.
