D Lo they didn't end up together unfortunately. If you watch the last episode Blaine says "did you hear about Sam, second girlfriend this week" and Mercedes goes "so why does he keep texting me" I donno if their cut scene was after that but from what it said they didn't end up together😭

It was in the final script. Sam mentions to Will that he had dinner with Mercedes and that she’s ready to settle down. It would have been the final scene, leading into the “I Lived” performance 🙂😢

The most ironic part about this monologue is that the writers PURPOSELY "dumbed down" Sams character and made him man child-like. If they had actually developed his character well, we would have seen a LOT more of this Sam.

I understand Mercedes point of view of the situation but I think it wasn't her decision to take Sam was the one who adopted McConaughey and the one who take care of him, the decision of if Sam can or not take care of his dog, what his obviously can, is only Sam decision. The only think I didn't like at all in the episode was the fact that Sam not keeping McConaughey
