To me this show kind of stopped being good after Cory died. Love you Cory RIP. He was the heart and soul the beginning and the end of glee. Like the story is that Finn would be the new director of the Glee Club and Rachel would come in and Finn would ask “what are you doing here”? And Rachel would say “I’m home”. The creator of the show had intended that would be the ending but when Cory died they had to change everything up. Which is probably why Rachel ended up marrying Jesse St James at the end of season 6

I loved the fact that Rachel didn't get a nose job because to me in my own opinion I always from scene 1 on season 1 thought she was beautiful I loved the way she accepted how she looks because to be honest she doesn't need a nose job she is gorgeous the way she is. I love her character and how she is motivated and doesn't try to be like everyone else in the standards because if everyone was the same then life would be pretty much boring. In my very much amazing conclusion point is Rachel is beautiful,gorgeous,and pretty she is her own beauty I love her confidence and determination.

I can't understand why so many people here justified all that Santana said?! She was cruel. It is never a good behavior to put all of those kids insecurities aloud. They are all aware of it, but at that poing they were 16 or so, so they were still dealing with it. Mike wasn't better at all. Tina said that she would neverchange anything about herself, and those contact-lenses? People wear them for fun very often, like everyone who watches Glee knows that Tina loved to experiment with fashion, and that was just a part of it. And Santana was just pathetic, she mentioned everyone else's insecurities but hers.

As much as I hate Santana, shes 100% right. Lets stop lying to ourselves, everybody has stuff about them that they wanna change. I didn't like having zits, hairy legs, and a chubby figure, so I worked hard and changed it. I never hated myself, I loved myself enough to take care of myself and make the change. I happy now. If it really did improve Rachels voice (though I was always told it wouldn't) and made her personally feel better, why tf stop her?? Its not really there place to say anyway.

I always thought this issue as a never-ending cycle. I mean you could have changed your looks because it makes you feel prettier, thus making you feel good. But if we are to step back and look wider, who exactly determine what is pretty and that you as yourself didn't fit that mold? At what point does the "looks" that make you feel better about yourself isn't influenced or manipulated by your immediate environment? At what point the definition of beauty truly comes from that individual's concious thought rather than being defined to them by influences from other factors around them? It is a weird cycle imo because everyone that has mentioned they wanted to change something about themselves always answered the same thing every time I asked why they think the change is necessary to them. They always answered either that they want to feel more accepted into the society or that they can look like certain celebrities they look up to. Idk, it's none of my business so I just leave them at that. It's their choice. 💁🏻‍♀️
