I'm not sure she knew the other two were in there. One of them was a guy so he obviously wasn't in the bathroom with her, he must've run in after the gun went off. He could've been the person who tried to get into the choir room first. The other girl might've been in there, but they were all holding their breath and trying not to make even the slightest sound, plus they were in fight or flight mode and not thinking straight, so I think they all ran in there at different times and didn't see each other until they emerged.

You know, it's a tragedy that this happens so often in America. One time, while my school was in a lockdown because somebody came onto campus with a machete and just killed some people in a nearby parking lot, what scared me the most was that nobody in the classroom would shut the fuck up. I mean, the guy could have just walked across the hallway into our classroom if he really wanted to; the glass panes could be broken, he could have gotten in had he heard us. I just don't want to die because some people can't shut their mouths in full knowledge that we could actually be killed.

Bruh, I'm in Germany and during our school shooting, they didn't even bother to tell us to be quiet. The teachers just went on and on about their lessons (my best friend and I were locked in with some class a few years younger than us, as we just came from lunch break and school just started again). Because lack of, well no training and just being plain stupid, we could've all been killed. Teachers were standing at the entrances as guards, the ones in classrooms letting everyone who knocked inside the room and just letting the kids be obnoxiously loud. Luckily, it was at another school only like a few minutes away, the teachers didn't even tell us that, none were killed, only a two or so injured and the shooter was locked away after two days of chasing.

I don't know why this episode received a lot of hates/backlash, I mean it's good that this show wanted us the viewers to be aware, this kind of accident could even happen in the school, and we as citizens should be more aware. This episode helps us how to be calmed, trust each other, when something will happen either outside or inside the school. Kudos to the teachers who stay calm, and kept reminding their students what do's and dont's when things happen like this.

Anny's World but they could do something like what they did with Karofsky's attempted suicide or Quinn's accident for texting, show it but at the same time not, and yes I feel really bad because I wanted the shooter to be real, but I wanted it to like bring conscience about this type of thing and back then Glee was popular so I think it could be a good thing.

I remember it made me cry so much not only the situation but Will saying 'I love you guys' because he didn't know if this was going to be the last time they ever saw each other because one of them might die or all of them would.

When I saw this episode, that first gunshot made my heart drop and was thinking "oh god" and got emotional as the episode ran. This is a dark but necessary episode

As someone who has been through a false alarm lock down. Its like this. Most terrifying moments in my life. It was freshmen year and I still know the fear. I'm a senior now and everytime the speak system digs when someone makes a announcement. I tense up and am ready to hide again.

I remember watching this scene when I was a sophomore in high school and it was so terrifying and real and I felt this huge pit in my stomach. When I was a senior we had a lockdown at my school because someone supposedly had a deadly weapon on campus. I didn’t hear gunshots or anything but they announced on the loudspeaker we were on lockdown. I felt that pit in my stomach again but it was 10x worse. My sister was also on campus but she was on the opposite side as me. We also had shitty phone service so I had no idea if she was okay. I felt like I was gonna throw up. Texting your parents you love them and crying quietly was the worse experience of my life. Luckily it was just a rumor and not real at all, and no one was hurt. But even getting a glimpse of what a school shooting was like will forever affect me. I can’t even imagine what it must be like for kids who really go through actual school shootings, and losing friends/family/teachers. Watching this again made me cry uncontrollably because it felt like I was under my desk again with my friend trying to calm me down from crying so much. Experiencing that really gave me a perspective on life and I realized how precious life is. I thank God every day for letting me live. No one deserves to feel this way and I hate how normalized it is in America. We need change now.

Okay so we all know Becky fired the gun but it only went off two times and at 1:50 it sounds like there was another gun shot so did it go off 3 times ?!?
@Meangrl195 жыл бұрын
It sounded like it went off more than that and apparently I'm going to have to watch the episodes again because I could have swore what Becky did wasn't an accident but she regretted it and didn't hurt anyone so Sue covered for her.

That was a door slam I believe not a gunshot.

"Shooters have smartphones, too" Ah yes because an active shooter is totally going to check their phone in the middle of something like that.

I got a text on my phone when the first shot went off, I thought it was just Will clapping-then I heard the distant scream and looked up, seeing their faces. It took a second, then that second gunshot...I was having a panic attack. Yes, I know I’m late, but this episode was just so emotional and intense and I just needed to say something.

When I heard about Glee, I heard it tackled issues like being gay and how hard it is to come out, transgender identity, and it has drama. but seeing this just makes me bawl. for once, Glee hits America in the chest.
i saw this thing about darrens part in this scene. it wasn’t a panic attack, but an anxiety attack. after blaine speaks for the first time and the whole room hushes him, he hardly says anything after that. because of the group reaction to him talking, he started to convince himself that if anyone in that room got hurt, it was his fault. he stayed in a fetal position and didn’t reach out or hug anyone until it was over. he kept blaming himself and when artie gets out the camera, he doesn’t say anything to the camera, instead he buries his face in his arms and cries. afterwards, when everyone is calling their parents, he starts off with “hi mommy”, which is a common thing for the brain to do after an anxiety attack. it goes back to much simpler speech and often childish acts.

I was blubbering at Brittany hiding in the cubicle, Heather played that terror SO well. My one thought after that was, if Santana saw Brittany in that situation, she would give the shooter (if there had been one) a stare that would've melted the gun right there and then!!

i came back to this scene because i remember actually crying with the cast, its so realistic and still happens and that's with covid shutting down most the schools. i remember waiting on which cast member was going to be hurt, thinking who else would die. i didn't enjoy this directions as much as the first but i still loved the show as a whole.

Since everyone is sharing their school shooting stories, here’s mine. We had a lockdown when two people were on my campus with guns, and no one in my classroom would shut up. When I turned to someone who was talking really loudly next to me I said please be quiet you know we could die right now and they said “I’m okay with the risk” and kept talking. What makes it even worse is that was the week when our school got new lights but they installed it in cush a way that for the first week we couldn’t turn them off, so a shooter would have been able to see everyone. We all huddled under our desks and tried to plan escape routes and frantically text our parents and friends. We were 13. In 8th grade. Our teacher pulled an effing anchor out from under his desk in case someone with a gun came through the door. We were checking and counting and making sure everyone we knew was safe, and wondering if we would be. I was ready to jump out the window as soon as I heard a gunshot and just start running. Thankfully neither of the armed people made it inside the building, but it was still the most scared I’ve ever been. I had ballet class that night. I went out to see my horse. And ever since then I’ve wondered what could have happened. If I’d slipped through the window and left the rest of my classmates behind. If I’d hear them screaming. Or worse, if I didn’t make it out. If my parents had to plan a funeral for their 13 year old daughter. I’m older now., but that experience still haunts me. What might be worse is the fact that they expected us back at school the very next day.
