I was expecting Don't Rain on My Parade because for me it's still one of the biggest Glee classics, but I loved seeing Vogue there. Sometimes I forget how many times the 'Will Shuester I hate you' line just randomly pops on my head over a decade later

My wife and I just rewatched glee end to end, it’s underrated not just for the performances but the depth of the storyline. Though it would have been nice if they’d prepared for sectionals more than a day before, just once.

I've been binge watching Glee for the last couple of months. On the last season now. It was often silly, sometimes in bad taste, sometimes cringe worthy, often up lifting, and loved the music and the actors. It's great and nothing like it will be shown again.

THANK YOU FOR THIS!! Glee has always been one of my guilty pleasures. It's gotten a lot of criticism from haters, but I still loved it! I wasn't a theater kid growing up, however I still enjoyed watching. It's hard to believe that 3 of its young stars have tragically passed away...sad. It's also worth mentioning that in the "Single ladies" episode, the fact that Heather Morris flawlessly danced backup to Chris was because she actually performs backup for Beyonce when shes on tour.

Pausing at number 4 to comment, before I let your top 3 influence me. My absolute favorite of season 1 was Bohemian Rhapsody. It was just perfect. The storyline behind it not even taken into account (I laughed so hard!). That's thé number of the season. Don't forget Cough Syrup in one of the later seasons. By far the best performance of all the seasons. ETA: you forgot Dream On. Those 2 guys belting... Man !

It's always nice to see a list that had actual variety. No exaggeration, but this may be one of the most diverse top 10 list I've seen before. Can't say I agree with every choice, but this is why it's always nice to see different people's opinions and thoughts. And I am seriously glad that "Don't Stop Believing" and "Don't Rain On My Parade" aren't on this list because there were better performances of season 1. Those are just always seen as "iconic". Interesting list!

Marc, I don’t know if seeing Glee is a prerequisite for your classes but I have never seen Glee. Please don’t kick me out of your class. I had seen pieces of it channel surfing but never an entire episode. So, I have a vague recollection of the characters. So...this particular video was the most I had seen and your commentaries were very helpful. Thanks as always!

I love Jane Lynch. She did such a good job and just seeing her have a performance like Vogue, I was thrilled. Jonathan Groff is always amazing in everything he does and his vocals were top notch. I remember watching his Spring Awakening performance and just thinking how much his voice got stronger and more powerful. I like that you went with different choices and explained why you liked them. Obviously like you said all choices are subjective, but I appreciated all of your decisions. I loved Glee but just fell out of it because of schedule. I was in school and trying to do my own performances. I picked it back up in a later season but still haven't seen every episode. I appreciated what it tried to do and we haven't really had anything match it since then. There have been shows that came out that were very similar but didn't pick up as much steam as Glee.

When this show came out my little girl was a mature 6 year old. We loved watching it together. But my favorite moment was when Rachel sang Smile from Charlie Chaplin. I started singing along and my daughter thought I was the coolest person because I knew a new song that she didn't! She didn't realize the song was 70+ years old!
