DA introduced the culture, spirit, history, beauty, and fashion of England to the whole world. I watched 6 seasons for so many times. I appreciate the effort people did for DA.

I was impressed with the Mess dress. It brought back memories for all the mess dinners I went to.

It's very refreshing to see the attention to detail oaid to the military uniforms. As a former US Army soldier, I automatically inspect the "uniforms" worn by actors in American films/shows, and it irritates me to see uniforms worn incorrectly. I find it somehow disrespectful to all members of the military.

Did Dan Stevens mispronounce the word "epaulet" or was he talking about something entirely different?

So disappointing. I really hoped they would cover Mrs. Drake's clothing. I'm very interested in farm women's clothing from the time period.

To the corest comment. Would you expect a modern day nurse or doctor to go to work without a bra on? No you wouldnt.
@ccburro13 жыл бұрын
It would depend on the uniform and how large-chested the woman is. As long as others can’t tell that you are going braless, no need to wear a bra. The nurse’s uniform in DA (with the full stuff apron) would allow for smaller chest women to skip bras.
@LadyoftheDreamless143 жыл бұрын
@@ccburro1 lol fair point. I was more attempting to make a point that corsets were everyday items and equivilent to a bra lol. Funnily enough, a lot of women with larger busts should really consider getting a corset made. Its really good back support and you dont have to have them be super shapely.

@@LadyoftheDreamless14 I heard that some of the actresses didn’t like them. Perhaps they were not designed or fitted correctly.
