I'm not sure she knew the other two were in there. One of them was a guy so he obviously wasn't in the bathroom with her, he must've run in after the gun went off. He could've been the person who tried to get into the choir room first. The other girl might've been in there, but they were all holding their breath and trying not to make even the slightest sound, plus they were in fight or flight mode and not thinking straight, so I think they all ran in there at different times and didn't see each other until they emerged.

You know, it's a tragedy that this happens so often in America. One time, while my school was in a lockdown because somebody came onto campus with a machete and just killed some people in a nearby parking lot, what scared me the most was that nobody in the classroom would shut the fuck up. I mean, the guy could have just walked across the hallway into our classroom if he really wanted to; the glass panes could be broken, he could have gotten in had he heard us. I just don't want to die because some people can't shut their mouths in full knowledge that we could actually be killed.

Bruh, I'm in Germany and during our school shooting, they didn't even bother to tell us to be quiet. The teachers just went on and on about their lessons (my best friend and I were locked in with some class a few years younger than us, as we just came from lunch break and school just started again). Because lack of, well no training and just being plain stupid, we could've all been killed. Teachers were standing at the entrances as guards, the ones in classrooms letting everyone who knocked inside the room and just letting the kids be obnoxiously loud. Luckily, it was at another school only like a few minutes away, the teachers didn't even tell us that, none were killed, only a two or so injured and the shooter was locked away after two days of chasing.

@Meangrl195 жыл бұрын
Because they were supposed to stay quiet. If they all called the police and were yapping at the same time, the shooter would know they were in there which Shue was trying to avoid.

If they called the police, they’d have to talk and clearly, they had to be quiet. Other people they tell could alert the authorities.
@elliott40434 жыл бұрын
if everyone calls the police, the phone lines can be clogged up and nothing can get through. it is traditionally one of the admin's responsibilities to call, and the students' job to warn other students

I was so scared because I thought the shooter was the girl Ryder was texting because she seemed pretty sketchy after catfishing him and when he said he was gonna call her, I thought that she’d ask where he was and then he’d tell her he was in the choir room

It breaks my heart to find out that this happens all the time in America, I feel so so sorry for the kids, I don’t even know that much about shootings because there’s only been one shooting that I know of that happens in my country 😔😢😭

I got a text on my phone when the first shot went off, I thought it was just Will clapping-then I heard the distant scream and looked up, seeing their faces. It took a second, then that second gunshot...I was having a panic attack. Yes, I know I’m late, but this episode was just so emotional and intense and I just needed to say something.

I cried at this part because I remember being in the same experience, and this scene took me back to that time, and the silence.in the classroom, the crying, the heavy breathing, some not breathing at all. Thinking this is it. That your gonna die. Not knowing what's gonna happen. The screaming outside. That feeling of emptiness in your stomach. It scars you.

Did anybody else think “what the hell” when Mr Shue said and I quote “start texting, start TWEETING” like who in their right mind would tweet something like “there”s a school shooting happening” like what!?
@WhyfallinLUVwhenUcanfallasleep4 жыл бұрын
I think he meant to tell their families, friends etc, not posting a story like “guys, lmao😂😍😘💕😏😊😔💕💕🙃☺️🥰😇☺️😉😗😝😖🤬🤬😳 there is a school shooting happening, like wtf. I AM SO THRILLED”
@raewhite15224 жыл бұрын
Then he could’ve just said “texting” I didn’t need to be “tweeting” in that sentence understand where you’re coming from but still

This was one of the best school shooting TV episodes. Sometimes, shows forget how scary it really is to not know if ur friends are safe. I went through one during high school and I do not wish that on my worst enemy. It is one of the scariest moments. I applaud glee for making this episode
@nylathemysticalcat95186 жыл бұрын
When I heard about Glee, I heard it tackled issues like being gay and how hard it is to come out, transgender identity, and it has drama. but seeing this just makes me bawl. for once, Glee hits America in the chest.
Omg that was fucking scary. I can't even imagine being in the real situation

I was blubbering at Brittany hiding in the cubicle, Heather played that terror SO well. My one thought after that was, if Santana saw Brittany in that situation, she would give the shooter (if there had been one) a stare that would've melted the gun right there and then!!

I don't know why this episode received a lot of hates/backlash, I mean it's good that this show wanted us the viewers to be aware, this kind of accident could even happen in the school, and we as citizens should be more aware. This episode helps us how to be calmed, trust each other, when something will happen either outside or inside the school. Kudos to the teachers who stay calm, and kept reminding their students what do's and dont's when things happen like this.

I couldn't bare to watch this It was a really scary experience Especially Sam crying and yelling for Brittney and just seeing Brittney crying in the stall made me realize how important this episode was to the show, me being someone who hasn't experienced this almost cried at the fact all my favorite characters were crying just seeing them down broke my heart, Although it wasn't a real shooter Sue made a good decision protecting Becky.

I wanted this scene to be with the original cast, like Finn protecting Rachel at all cost. But whatever Ryan knew what he was doing. I miss Glee every time. I think there is never going to be a TV show like this never again.

Man the way this scene was written and acted out... The way show went from chill to serious real quick....The sound of the first shot had confused me the way it confused Will making him look like "Was that my hands clapping?" And then the second shot with the sound of the girl running setting the tone... my heart just started racing as everyone started hiding... The way not everyone had the same reaction... Coach Beaste taking action real quick and Will taking leadership and responsibility was the best combination in this scene... So realistic and nervewrecking! I never expected such a comedic show like Glee to ever depict something so serious....let alone nail it... So terrifying..
