Her name's Jessalyn Gilsig, and she IS a really good actress. Before Glee, she was in Ryan Murphy's previous show, Nip/Tuck, she played a character named Gina who was 10 times worse than Terri.

Making it even worst is when Quinn was going to let her adopt her child, Quinn asked Terri to help with the cost of the pregnancy and she said no. Not only did she show no concern about Quinn's health, she was going to a high school student pay for everything.

@@killmenowprettyprett She wanted to 'keep him' she said. Like he was an object to her or something. In the beginning she explained that she felt Will had one foot out the door so she made up this story to keep him with her. If she would have said she lost the baby, after a while he would have left. Yes this situation is horrible, but what’s more horrible is the fact that there are people in the comments and replies saying will should’ve hit her. In no situation should a man or woman hit their significant other unless it’s self defense. People you should not be condoning this and you should not be promoting it. I know that this is a tv show but this actually happens in real life and when people in abusive relationships read comments like that it makes it harder for them to get out of that situation. Because it makes them think it’s their fault. I am not saying what Teri did wasn’t horrible it was one of the worst things you can do but she doesn’t deserve to be beaten. @@iampluvia7498 honestly when I first watched it I was fully on wills side but the more I watch it, the more I feel awful for Terri. She was worrying that her marriage was slipping and subconsciously made herself think she was having a baby and before it was too late, she’d told him and was too scared to tell him it was a hysterical pregnancy. Then he started the glee club and it made her feel like he was pulling away from her. Not to mention how inappropriate he was with other women, ESPECIALLY Emma. Of course she manipulated him and that is still awful but, atleast in my opinion, what she went through is significantly worse than what he did.

If you look into the possible causes of hysterical pregnancy, you feel a tad bit more compassion for her because you see what's at the root of all this behavior. I see her deceptive behavior as a continued manifestation of the psychological factors that caused her delusion. It's all sprouting from the same place. That being said, she still should have had enough self control and concern for how she'd affect others to find a better way to deal with it.

Definitely! That I never meant to hurt him, I was just trying to heal myself and protect him from the pain I'd suffered. That would have saved the marriage. And in all fairness, it's not necessarily lies. Even though the pregnancy was hysterical, it was real to her, and she did experience a loss.

Yes, but also keep in mind how awfully she treated him during the whole "pregnancy". She broke him down, insulted him, made him do whatever she wanted while using the "baby" as leverage to keep him like a puppet on her strings. True, her psycho sister said she should keep lying and to take Quinn's baby, but she said yes. No matter how scared she was, she still chose to lie to her husband to keep up the facade rather than tell him the truth. Hell! She could even have waited till her period and staged a miscarriage earlier on, or faked it. At least that would have been a better lie than faking an entire pregnancy, pressuring a teenage girl into giving away her baby, and then lying to her husband that "yeah this is totally your baby" and by extension lying to the child themself. I don't doubt for a second that had she not been caught she would live that lie her ENTIRE life

Before the confrontation scene even happens we can see what a manipulative and abusive person Terri is. Will calls out to her asking if she’s seen his pocket square but she doesn’t respond. When he enters the kitchen, without even looking up from her cooking, she insults him saying the pocket square wouldn’t look good. Showing that she did hear Will but chose to ignore him because he’s not worth her time, (in her mind ). The confrontation scene just further proves it when she first tries to gaslit him, then when her lie is literally proven she immediately goes full victim mode, trying to pin the blame on Will because he finally felt better about himself and even saying their marriage works just because Will doesn’t feel good himself. Kudos to the actress because she made me hate Terri so so much!

This might sound bad, but I’m glad he never even considered going back with her. Sure they had sex afterwards but that’s because he was sick. Eh, I think it's standard decency not to murder. Good on him I guess? Seriously, we shouldn't make it sound like he was going above and beyond, though you might not have meant it that way. It's expected for him to be crushed and angry, but why take a life for one that never existed? And she deserves to grieve not being a mother, but she had a choice whether to purposely spread that pain to someone she supposedly loved. She is despicable, no doubt. However, we don't murder even despicable people.

Ok, it just sounded a little more dark than that the way you worded it 😂 True, he did refrain from using cutting words out of spite. That can cause serious lifelong damage to a person. He's a creep that lacks a realistic sense of boundaries and good judgement as a HS teacher, but he does have emotional maturity in that regard. That is to be commended.

I know right. In my family, when my parents got divorced, my dad had a much higher salary than my mom but she still had to contribute into raising me and my brother in her own house under her own bank account, even when we would only live with her half the time, so in that scenario I understand it.

"Who are we kidding, Will? This marriage works because you don't feel good about yourself!" If that doesn't spell out toxic relationship, I don't even know what does. Fucking hate Terri, she's insanely selfish and if you truly love someone, you shouldn't even be thinking that way. I think she used to love Will but she stopped a while ago, now he's just a source of old memories to her and a confidence booster and that's why she keeps him around.
