You can use the garden plant hanger with the chain and put two hooks on the seat as well , then paint the hooks black. This will make it more realistic

When buying blue painters tape, you look to see the color of the core for which would be best. The orange core is the delicate. It sticks better than Frog tape and never pills paint off from undern.

All darn cute but the swing... I bought one of those to use for product photos but how awesome with the swing using them. Im going to have to make one of those! LOL They are called wing nuts! Haha. And Im with you with the water and paint stain. I do it on furniture too and just add a protective coat like wax or poly. I even red wine stained recently!

If you'll use one of those flat smooth bottom round sponges on the wooden dowel brush your dabbing technique with baking soda and paint would work so much better .

All the stencils I used except the silk screen transfers are from Dollar Tree. They are with all the stickers in the craft aisle. Sometimes I have to go to a few different DT stores to find everything I need. I hate that DT stores don't all carry the same things 😒 😥. I hope you find them. They might also be on the DT website.

I enjoy watching your videos there's only one thing that bothers me. The word technique. KZbinrs use this word too much. If you can't explain something any other way, you guys say technique. Please. I wanted to make the shelf house but Dollar Tree no longer sells the wood drawers. I glued my crates together before I knew they were no longer available. If anyone knows where else to get them let me know. I am thinking about cutting down crates but since Christmas my store has been sold out of those too. I especially loved that project.

Ughh so that's why I can't find them! 😩 That makes me so sad. We could do so much with them drawers while crafting. I sure hope they start selling them again. As for a replacement, I wonder if you could use the wood crates but turn them vertically. I do know I made a haunted house based off this house shelf with mostly the Dollar Tree crates. If you have seen that video, I believe you could leave the drawers out and they should fit perfectly if stacked like that. If you are painting yours, you could possibly use the square little gift boxes. You know the ones with the lids and they always have a bounch of different shapes and sizes. Those might just work. I'm REALLY new at crafting.. I'm sorry, I've heard A LOT about your using a chippy brush... Hun what is that?😩🤨🤔 I just started crafting a couple months ago. Dang, it's kinda expensive to start 😂glue gun,paints and all. But I'm loving it

To me, A chippy brush is not flat or straight at the end. They have lots of bristles that are different lengths. Some are a little longer. Look up chippy paint brush on google and it will show you pictures and you will see what I mean a little better. They were originally actually used to wipe metal and wood chips off of machinery.
