Tomo o Imatinibe a 2 meses minhas plaquetas voltaram ao normal, mas minha imunidade baixou muito, tenho tido muita náusea e meu paladar ficou totalmente modificado, não consigo comer nada, talvez vou ter que diminuir a dose, pois atacou muito meu estômago. 😢

I've been on gleevec for 15 days. All of the sudden my nervous system is haywire with tingling all over my face and arms. Now I've lost control emotionally as well and find myself sobbing to my wife for no reason. Im on 400 mg /day. Anyone else have this happen?

Yes I started it and have tingling in the face as well and on 400 mg as well

@@morris246 No they took me off. And now I moved to Arizona so I have to find a new doctor. The longer I took imatinib the worse I got. Ive been off it about 7 weeks and Im still suffering neuropathy every day. Im gonna try and get to a specialist at the Mayo clinic north of Phoenix.

I took glivec for seven years and had all the side affects .And it did wrecked my nerves, physically and emotionally.

Just started taking this medication and it hurts my stomach and makes me have to use the bathroom

Take it along with one full glass of water and only after food. U've to take enough quantity of food to satisfy the hunger. There'll be no upset in stomach. If u still feels like vomiting, dissolve the tablet in one glass of water without breaking it
