“Is it CHRIST or WAYYYAYNE???” I’ve watched this episode so many times just to hear this song. So Joy Division adjacent and I’m here for it. If it wasn’t the last season, I’d say make an episode with My Tattered Journal making a reprise of this banger.

Agreed. It was very reminiscent of that early-to-mid-'80s synth pop that was all the rage. This was definitely a catchy tune.

ISTR Jacob Tierney said he was trying to channel Ian Curtis as Glen might have interpreted him, so I guess if you're picking up Joy Division vibes (as I do too!) he nailed it. 😆
