I feel that pain too! I've been taking care of my Mom for 3 yrs now(Plus 1 yr in an assisted living facility). I understand that feeling of defeat. Many times I've thought of giving up, as life seems to just keep piling it on. I don't think I've laughed or smiled in 4 years. My guitars collect dust along with everything else in my life...I'm glad you've found hope. But this song just reminds me of the music career I've abandoned.

I had the great fortune to hear Glen perform his new song at The Stone Pony this week. No one sings so deeply from the soul and with such exquisite range as Glen Hansard. There's No Mountain is one of those songs that becomes a heart go-to the second you first hear it. If you ever have the opportunity to see Glen Hansard live, please do. Such a special experience.
