I was a tawny port person before I found the Whiskey Tribe, and quickly found a home in the Campbeltown region once I started exploring Scotch. So when I saw this whiskey announced I absolutely had to get it. I saved it for a special occasion and I opened it when we closed on our new home over a year later. It's one of my all time favorites. I never thought you'd get one and I was glad for an excuse to bust it out and taste it with you guys! Thanks for all that you do!

I love this one. I'd say it's one of my favourites. I bought it about 2 years ago, as a treat to myself for passing a hard exam, at my local whiskey shop. I initialy went there to buy another bottle of Lagavulin 16, but they offerd me a glass of Glen Scotia Tawny Port and I was sold from the first smell. Great bottle, perfect for initiating someone to more complex whiskey. Cheers lads.

I'm drinking a Campbeltown right now a Kilkeran heavily peated sooooooo good 👍 I like how the Campbeltown whiskies are still a reasonable price for the age statements. This one is sub £50 and 59.1% try buying an islay at that strength for less then 100 it's a struggle

First and only Glen Scotia I’ve had was the Seasonal Release 2020. Not a good first impression for me. Never more Glen Scotia for me, I thought. Perhaps it’s time for a revisit, and find either this or the 8 years PX cask which is also a festival release.

I love watching your vids. I like it when you guys get a scotch or international whiskey's there has been so many U.S ones recently. It feels most are bourbon(Jim beam) or bourbon like(Jack Daniels). Do U.S have a scotch like single malt distillery that makes something that tastes like scotch? Also Briana is cute. A little whirly but that is one of the things that makes her cute.

Idea for rapid whiskey aging. Install a liquid to liquid heat exchanger coil into the barrel connecting multiple barrels in parallel loop. Followed by connecting the loop to deeply drilled well. Using the cold water from the well to cool the whiskey ten to fifteen degrees below ambient temperature with the water returned to well. Doing this intermittently would enable dozens of day night cycles to be simulated each day. Pulsing the whiskey though the oak for rapid flavor development using the natural process simply accelerated. Thoughts?

Based on their nosing comments I would never try this, medicinal, rubber, smoke, protein, and brine. A few months ago I try a whiskey they liked that had been aged in port barrels. Had to throw it away as it had an aftertaste that was nasty. Funny how tastes can be so different. I am with Daniel on the whole Mouthing issue.

All of the Glen Scotia bottles went up recently in my state $15!!! How trash are the distributors when they can't figure out a purchasing plan when the dollar and pound near parity. I used to hardily poo-poo grey market activity, but the false inflation and fantasy pricing going round is making rum running and grey activity the only logical response.
