I will definitely be removing at least 2 inserts . 😅 we’re only a family of 3 and don’t need that much space, I wanted mainly to showcase how big and beautiful the table was ❤️ I’ll keep the inserts put up, and bring em out for when family visits 🤗 thank y’all so much for watching!

Very nice. I do upholstery. Wish I could have helped you with that. The wall is awesome. I love crazy, so my colors and drapes are a bit more bold in my dining room, but I did the painting and made the drapes and Roman shades. I also have hand-blown glass light fixtures by a local artist. I just love that you do everything yourself and use so many power tools.

I have made them before, so these were easier. I do a lot of measuring, make pockets in the lining and put dowels in the pockets. I don’t use the readymade tape. I whip stitch the rings on, tie the cording onto the bottom ring and pull them through the rings and an eye hook at the top. To install, I staple the top of the shade to a piece of wood (the eye hooks are attached to this) that fits the window and screw that into place. Wish I could send you some pictures.
