I was there last month and I plan to go again at Christmas. It's a fabulous hotel and it really deserves all the awards it receives.

nice series on hotels // country hotels are often overlooked image of shooting estates but increasingly more /of a much wider range of activity // / ...maybe catagories like best hotel // best medium budget /// best for under a budget ---- eagles lovely but expensive for many normal folk -- maybe series videos on a wide variety of categories // within 3 levels // uk coast city country // also there are some good theme hotels such as whisky conservation activity gardening water sports --- suspect now more families would do a hotel with wide range of activities //// personally did travel world as you get older rather stay within maximum travel distance -- more hotels that are sensibly priced for a family /reviews / fair review though ... if you can afford .. people know it superb for golf but the estate is enormous .... and lovely area ...

I had a good fortune to be accommodated at Gleneagles for 3 nights in 1989 as a guest of Johnnie Walker, otherwise this would be well beyond my reach.
