You mentioned Apple pie on the nose. I get a lot of what i pick up as apple juice on the pallet. Apple juice with a little vanilla

Thank you so much for the review. Actually, we do have it in France, and I was recently about to get a bottle. Love the heavy woody flavours, don't love the corn taste in bourbon. Expecting a perfect match. What a pity it is not 46%, un-chilfiltered 😫

One of my favorites is the 12 year. The 12 year is one that’s just good to me. The 14 is okay but, I didn’t enjoy it as much as the 15 or the 12 year. Cheers Erik

For me, out of core range, it's the 15 that just works the most.

It had a nice malty taste for sure, pleasant enough. Despite the "bourbon" pitch my first sip was scotch all the way.

I always find Glenfiddich very malty. Had 12 and 15. It's good, but sadly they are 40 abv

Hello, Erik, thank You for interesting review. I think, the name of review is misleading-I mean Glenfiddich is located in Speyside, not Highland, is it not?

Speyside is a subregion of the Highlands. Distillery’s can use either Speyside or Highland on the label. For example, The Macallan is located in Speyside but they put Highlands on the label.
