I got Screaming for Vengeance when I was 13. I was blown away, the twin guitar attack of KK and Glenn two different yet powerful styles. I had never heard anyone then that could scream to the heavens or sing anything like Rob Halford. They have been with me thru my teens till today at 49. They are part of my life. Proud to see them stand behind Glenn. They are not only a great band but great people. Hang in there Glenn!

I feel bad for Glenn but the guy is a trooper. God bless him. Priest being one of my all time favorite bands, it's a hard thing to hear and watch at times, but they have already given the fans so much, so if it actually does stop now then so be it. They will always be considered one of the greatest founding metal bands of all time.

Alex Knight ....So sorry for your loss bro, Parkinsons and Cancer are 2 evil, unforgiving diseases, and there needs to be a cure found for both. But until that date arrives, all anyone can do is keep up the fight, and try to soldier on against the disease.

I feel so bad for Glenn. Hes been THE coolest since late 70s when I started seeing pix of Judas Preist in the magazines. They didnt show Rob, no KK, ... And that little picture saying "Learn how to play guitar like your heroes ...and it showed a pic of Glenn with his leather jacket & Black guitar looking coool as hell.

I for one am really curious what the future of Priest is. Firepower is a great album, and if it happens to be their last, then it's a great one to go out with. It's just hard to imagine Priest continuing with Glenn now. Losing KK was hard enough, but without both their legendary guitarists... really, what's next?

My heart is gonna break when Glenn dies.He is the most impressive guitarist ever in my opinion. This old ass guy used to shred the shit out of the guitar!Tell me,do you know any other bands from 1969 that have gotten this heavy and that actually shredded?I don't think so.Even tony iommi witch is even younger than glenn never even thought about shredding, they mostly played blues stuff

This is such a farce. The dude didn't play on the album and they knew he wasn't going to tour. Tickets first went on sale in October 2017. For the concert promoters and the people that bought tickets, it's nothing less than fraud. My only question is if there was a secret deal with the promoters and they were informed of Tipton's unavailability prior to signing the deal. The band obviously received a guarantee, I would assume the amount of the guarantee would have needed to be negotiated accordingly if the promoter had received advance notice. If not, then that's fraud.

Glen rocks, one day he won't be able to do the show, he's made provisions for that.. Says he really loves the band and fellas. He can play when able the fans will be lucky those nights. Don't think his part in firepower didn't play a part in it being such a fantastic record. He's teaching the kids the trade! Their learning!
