I’m 16 years old and Japanese euphonium player. I’ve played the euphonium about 5 years. I was moved his sounds. I want to be a very good euphonium player like him. I’ll practice the euphonium harder than now.
Beautiful. I'm happy to hear the euphonium taken seriously and played so wonderfully.

This makes me so proud to play the Euphonium. Such emotional playing. The part where the Eupho and Tuba have their moment. So glorious.

I love that his lyrical style sounds beautiful whether he's fluttering valves or playing straight melody. Too many "star" Euphs think that virtuosity is about how fast the apertures transition rather than how beautiful the music produced.

Wow! What a nice discovery. I have never heard this player before. He is now one of my favorites. What great tone control. The slurred arpeggios are superb! His dynamics are spectacular. One of the best pieces I have heard played on best of all brass instruments.

One of the few brass players I would actually pay to listen to. What a ridiculous amount of talent Glenn has, I remember accompanying him in France in 2009 and he was astonishing even then.
@happyjellycatsquid5 жыл бұрын
marchsteve1 Wow I so disagree ! He is amazingly talented but why so much slight against brass ? I believe brass are wonderful instruments !
@jadenkeith62573 жыл бұрын
@@happyjellycatsquid We are not against brass instruments. They are gorgeous and amazing when played properly with technique of great adequacy and beautifully with gorgeous tone many would die for. However, Glenn is one of the very few who goes above and beyond to match these standards while the majority of brass musicians, artists, and peers in his position do not reach as much to achieve these checkpoints. He should be payed much more by us listeners as an audience and by those who produce and release his albums accordingly. He is a very excellent and extremely talented Euphonist and deserves more praise
@happyjellycatsquid3 жыл бұрын
@@jadenkeith6257 I think you’re just really prejudiced 😅 Professional brass players are usually talented because that’s kind of their job and they would loose it otherwise 😅

Aka I'm addicted to this song, help Update: Also got the music, now let's see how far I can get Update 2: I got notes down but slowed down tempo, reached to the second page! Update 3, i got 95% of notes and rhythm before the jig which is before 3:36 Update 4 Finally reached the 3rd page of the music. Update 5:got about 80 percent of the notes and rhythm down
