1:25 The 'right-cross' (Jack Dempsey), this is a crossing right as a counter-punch immediately following or during your opponent's left jab, over the top to the chin of opponent. It's good that Glenn calls his #2 punch, a cross and not a right-cross. I'd say that if we/you need to identify that you're crossing to the left with right hand, we/you should call out that it is the right hand crossing, or cross-right, and never 'right-cross', as right cross means something very specific according to Jack Dempsey, a great pioneer of the sport, and the G.O.A.T. , (at least from his era).

yo Glenn - what is your thoughts on the right shoes when not actually in the ring - i.e flat soles but still good cusioning etc, ive tried bball shoes, runningshoes, chucks, indoor fotbal and boxing shoes :) In my opinion boxing shoes are good for in the ring cus its soft surface - but regular class doing in and out work and skipping takes its toll (im 90+kg) - My next try are nike SB cuz of padding and flat sole. Just wanne hear your 2 cents. Ps Amanda Sarrano was wearing Basketball shoes against Katie... they looked clunky though. (what a fight hey)

definitely, if you’re working on stepping with punches, used to do that a lot with mma guys, with boxing though, exchanges are more in close range, feet are more set generally speaking
