Goosebumps indeed! I agree with you. Undoubtfully this is the closest cover of Whitney's 'I Will Always Love You' I have ever heard till now. It comes to my attention that most of the time, Glennis Grace uses the same vocal technique Whitney used in all her songs (head/chest voice, falsetto, vibrato, adlib, dynamic, arrangement), which we all know, is not easy at all, given the fact that many singers has failed in attempt to do it. Glennis just knows 'how to do it correctly'. In my humble opinion Glennis Grace deserves not only the respect for her attempt to follow Whitney's style faithfully, but also our praise for her achievement to do it flawlessly!

It is scary to e en think that she is Whitney in reincarnation.Did you hear her sang "Whitney I love you" in the part where Whitney sang " Darling I love you". Got goosebumps a lot of it. I loved listening to Whitney songs quite awhile back and listening and watching her sing Whitney's bring back memories and I believe I had fallen in love with this beautiful lady with a beautiful powerful voice. I love Christina Aguilera. She tried to put her own spin on the song and it backfired. She usually oversangs a song and she did it again. But she tried. She did it her way. Even Christina said once that Glennis can withstand a Whitney's song. Didn't CA do a Whitney Rendition years ago? Whitney enjoyed it so this is why they chose her to do it. Whitney's version is UNTOUCHABLE, no one will ever get on that level, but this performance is I-N-C-R-E-D-I-B-L-E. I bet you didn't know that actually Whitney's version is a cover too, the song came out in 70's (Dolly Parton wrote and interpreted it first), it didn't get an extraordinary success but Whitney caught its potential and there it is, one of the biggest hits ever. #THEVOICE

I will say her live version is way better than Wh’s version. WH was struggling back then…having a baby will get your chords for a few years. Big promo schedule. Just a lot. But WH’s recorded version….just gold. Even if someone sings it exactly the same, in our minds, it was just so much better when the single initially released. MJ and WH are the two who can do that.
