Even when I was 5 years old. I would hear in the parade in my home town. I would hear the Bagpipes play beautiful Scotland the Brave not knowing why it always got my attention. Here I am almost 60. All that time playing in my mind. THANK YOU now I know the name of that beautiful melody.

What it is to be Scottish, or have Scottish Heritage. I live in South Africa and have Scottish Heritage through my maternal great grandfather. I always yearned for the day when I could go and live in Scotland, but it never happened. The biggest mistake of my life. I just love this wonderful recording of Scotland the Brave. Oy! Also Scottish, Welsh, Irish (via Ulster.) Def Celtic. If you listen too long to this music, you may feel a need to fix bayonets and charge at something. The Germans (the other half of my family in USA) didn't idly call us "Ladies of Death". It's the pipes.
