You have saved an elderly man from potentially taking a nasty fall and enhanced the chair. A good job well done. 👍

Amazing work! Isn't it funny how these rocker chairs all have that problem? I also thought the design of the chair was kind of ugly

That's not how it is suppose to work but I can see why you might make this adjustment. I'd have just got a different chair.

Would you not want to glue a piece of rubber to the back side of the cam so when it hits the stop position it doesn’t click each time. I’d think that noise would be annoying when rocking.

Ross I wish there was something i could do to help you. What about selling vintage Corelle dinner ware, or kitchen ware, people seem to like that.

I just bought a Town Square glider for someone for $40. It’s an awesomely sturdy heavy chair with a a solid wood seat(no springs) However I feel like I have the opposite issue as It seems stiff snd I would love for it to glide and swing more freely. Is there any tips for these gliders? Thanks

This is not rocking chair anymore, as we can see at the end of the video when you try it out. It was easier to put tightener somewhere from inside and stop it rocking for good. And also there is that annoying sound when it reach that limiters you made.
