when my dad comes back home from overseas i am going to listen to this with him in the car. he and i love your covers and listening to you produce more makes me miss my dad c: rather than this song just be about romatic relationships, i really see it as a way to see my younger self. simple songs easily remind me of a simpler time or a peaceful moment with people i love. it always brutally reminds me that im growing up and I will meet the ineveitable where i wont have my parents with me. it could be about my mom who is quite literally in the adjacent room to mine, who takes care of me so well when im sick and i'd miss that moment. it could be about a moment to myself, strolling and appreciating the not so friendly weather while drinking cartons of whatever i could find in my fridge. thanks json, i look forawrd to more posts edit 8/19/22 it has been a month since ive wrote this post. my dad is back home c: i just picked him up from the airport a few hours ago. its late at night but i let a playlist of your covers play as we drive home.
