Incredible watches. Wei said it well….a perfect fusion of their classic heritage shapes updated perfectly with technology, innovative materials and unique color combinations.

Good luck to this brand. I’m 30 now and when I was young, I was in the room with my then fairly young uncles who use to talk about Franck muller watches like people talk about Richard Mille / AP currently

I think this video offers a glimpse into the future of today’s hyped independent brands and where they might end up in 20 years when the hype is long gone. Franck Muller have very good watches lately but unfortunately not many pay attention. I wish them to do well commercially!

I can agree with you for rm, but if we are talking about true independent brands (journe,voutilainen,akrivia, dufour,etc.) I think they are well worth their money even now when you look at the movements (architecture + finishing)

Who is the investor behind Franck Muller? The costs of R&D must be skyhigh...
@dspirea Жыл бұрын
How do R&D budgets look like to make in house movements? A couple million or tens? Very curious.

I just wonder who buys any Franck Muller's anymore...? The brand is very much dead in the water since 2009.

Remains apparently popular in some exotic places in Asia and Middle-East… but strange anyway

He is one of the first independent watch makers to launch a brand. He was a leader everyone followed. Also the first tourbillion to be put at the front of the watch is to his credit. The most complicated watch in the world is his too 36 complications. The most expensive watch in the world (without diamonds) is to his credit to and the first to do a curved case. Not to mention the first to add color and pop to a watch. Now everyone copies him. Did you ever see his Skeleton vanguard 7 days ? It’s 7 days power reserve ! It’s nuts. Even AP and PP do not have a 7 day power reserve watch. What’s missing from the brand is good marketing and good brand ambassadors. I have a few pieces and love the brand.

The sheep will follow the other sheep and only buy what the influencers (Nico, Roman, etc.) tell them to buy.

Whatever happened to the Vanguard Casablanca Collection. I read about it and then....nothing.

These watches have the same problem Panerai has…. Way overpriced. How do I know? Always look at the resale value. Both brands lose 40% plus months off retail.
