Jenna Morran is one of the greatest game designers making games today. A huge inspairation. When I created BE SEEING YOU I purposefully made rules that don't work but still have the game continue regardless, which was inspired by Dog Eat Dog (by Liam Liwanag Burke) and Glitch (Nobilis also blew my mind years before). So good to see Glitch get a review as I don't think it gets the love it deserves.

Oh! First, the addition of glitches was a nice touch. Second, diceless games don’t tend to interest me, but now I am intrigued!

it's a fair observation but the book does tie it to the act of observation being 1) volountary 2) violence. The strategists are not adjusted to perceiving the world, it's an active effort for them to take it in and see, and in the action of doing this they attack the void, folding nuance into nuance upon it, expanding it with non ninuan things and understandings. To this ninnuan has no defence, it is helpless against the millions of things in creation assaulting it by perceiving it. At least that is what a strategist claimed.
