I don't know _why_ it works, but I know _how_ to use it. If you kill enough enemies, and then enter the doghouse from clipping through the fence, it sends you to a random indoor/dungeon area. This means killing 1 enemy, you go somewhere else than if you kill 2. There's likely a guide somewhere on how to use the wrongwarp to beat the game early, but I haven't bothered to look

I believe the reason as to why only certain warps work with DDG is: When in an area, its warp data is copied into a place in memory (like: Warp 1, warps to place X, located at XY; Warp 2, warps to place Y, located at XZ). The byte where the destination of warp number X (like rival's door or dept. store right door) is copied to, happens to be the byte that decreases due to the glitch.

+Daniel M. L. I think it has something to do with being able to clip into the wall and enter the dog house from the back, which is not supposed to happen, so the game freaks out. That's is a huge simplification, and is probably wrong, so I'd love to see a vid on that, too!

Evan Blenkinsopp Oh yeah I’ve performed the glitch multiple times I just don’t know why it freaks out. For example on my play through I tried the glitch and in the glitched dimension I opened a chest that soft locked me way later in the game at Eagles Tower since I was supposed to hookshot to the disappeared chest. I’d really just want to see why the game does what it does.

So, this is basically a wrong Warp. What about thoughts and possiblities of a Super Mario Sunshine Wrong Warp. There are some intresting results I found. So, evereybody knows Pinna 1 Cutscene Skip. This doesn't occur in any other cutscene we can enter. When we try exit area and enter a loading zone like Noki 6, the game will reset itself. This also happens, if we die during entering a loading zone. (Just try entering Ricco 2 and dying the same time as you exit area) Maybe you can find some more information about how what I mentioned works, and what we could try to wrong warp to Corona / idk. The reason this only works with specific warps is that you're changing the destination of one particular warp tile. Of course the map can have many warps.

I'm not sure what's more confusing, the fact that the game tracks the number of pokemon but uses a null-terminated array, or the fact that there's a variable-length list to keep track of your 6 pokemon at most.

What about explaining World 0 and World × in Super Mario Bros. 3? There's also a game genie code to change the music, and when that code has been entered in, and then you go to World 0, it plays the music, and then the static noise sound is in, and the screen shakes, and keep waiting, and the whole screen glitches up, and then the game crashes. Since there is no music programmed for World ×, that world would cycle through the music, and then the static noise comes in with the screen shaking. I think I know why cycle through the music, when the world shows up, there is no music playing, and after landing in the world, the game is programmed to play music after landing in the world, and it had to play music somehow, so it cycles through the music found in the game data.

When messing around with Missingno and stuff I think I faced a wild team rocket battle where they had 9+ pokemon and I eventually died and they sometimes would just keep swapping pokemon over their old pokemon or something, idr. It was so long ago and pretty weird.
