Kameme was the highlight of the tournament for me, I absolutely love sora and am so happy to see kameme show the US what Sora is capable of!!! Good on Squidplumber, saw he was 77th seed and I had no idea who he was but good for him!!!

Glitch Regen has to be my second favorite tournament of 2022, simply because of a lot of underrepresented characters actually showing up and doing well. Seeing high-level Sora and Hero gameplay was a real treat! A lot of underdogs actually doing well was also super hype to see! Edit: In my mind, Glitch Regen is a major. It's so unfair to not call it one just because some top players DQd. We still had a lot of strong talent there. Honestly, there's a lot more debate regarding what tournaments qualify as a major, so I think we should start developing more solid major-determination methods.

It is still a major due to size and a decent amount of top players, but it was one of the lower ends. Although watching low represented characters do well is always nice to see, especially smub with his Ridley.

Just because a tournament doesn’t have Leo, Riddles, Proto, Gluttony, etc. doesn’t mean that it isn’t a big deal. This and Riptide proved that.

It's weird how people are even arguing about this because we had Light, Sonix, Ling, Kameme, Ken, Ned, Jake, Zomba, Jakal, and a few other big names there. There are so many other players finally getting good enough to contest other top players, too. I think we'll see a big change in world rankings within the next 5 months.
