Not sure how fun of a fact this is but the reason it's Diet Cola Mountain instead of just Cola Mountain is because mentos react much more aggressively with diet coke over regular coke, so it makes sense for this mountain/volcano in Sugar Rush to be diet cola and therefore more reactive. Not sure really why this is but I remember doing it as an experiment in school.😊

I remember one time watching a video talking about Sergeant Calhoun's backstory, and how potentially dark and tragic it really was. Seeing as the cybugs "become what they eat", or take shape of what/who they eat, that cybug would've taken on a sinister shape of the man she loved, and realising that she would've had to shoot and kill what looked like him just makes it darker.

Vanellope's ability could definitely be OP, but there are also a bunch of ways you can balance it. Maybe she's an achevement unlock for something like getting a perfect score on a hard level, maybe she's playable if you get last place a certain number of times in a row as a handicap, or maybe she's a character meant for pro players only, where her glitch is super powerful but very hard to execute, and if you do it wrong you could easily glitch yourself into hitting an obstacle or off the track if you do it wrong.

The nicelanders really piss me off. Because they treat Ralph like trash because he's the villain. He didn't ask to be the bad guy, but they don't care of how he feels. And when the game is set as out of order, then they realize without Ralph they are doomed, what an "unseen" irony. Honestly, they deserved the scare they got.

I think what bothered me about the characters in Fix It Felix really treated Ralph as if he was JUST his charcater. All the other characters that are evil or good were cool with each other. They knew it was a game. The characters of Fix It Felix were making it seem as if their game was actual real life for them. When it's really just their job. I'm glad the plot of this movie taught everyone a lesson, including the characters of Fix It Felix. Also, I don't like Gene..

@22Tesla

Hmmm... true, but it seems like everyone treats Ralph that way. Like when he's just walking across Game Central Station, the characters all stop in their tracks and freeze, run away, or (in Dig Dug's case) tunnel into the floor to get away from him. It's a real question WHY he gets so much grief as if he was Turbo himself and caused a game to get unplugged. Like it seems they all know that "hey, we're just actors when we're on the clock," and yet Ralph is the one they treat like a walking threat.
@jessbeingme8155
@jessbeingme8155 11 ай бұрын
@@22Tesla You make a good point and now all I could think is maybe the Nicelanders have been slandering him to others, they have famous friends like Pacman and Mario who might be bolstering their credibility to the newer game characters. Qubert wasn't scared of him and was worried about him when he went to inform them. Tapper treats him kindly and listens to him. The guy from Heroes Duty doesn't react badly to him, he could just be so traumatized that he didn't even know who he was talking to but my thought is since they're from a new game no one from their game has been influenced to think badly of Ralph yet.
@22Tesla
@22Tesla 11 ай бұрын
@@jessbeingme8155 Makes sense on the last part. Like the characters of Heroes Duty don't know what "go Turbo" means and likely don' t have any real bias against Ralph, and no one in Sugar Rush, with the exception of King Candy/Turbo knows who Ralph is. Though the latter might be down to their memories being locked away, or they just never leave their own game. Wouldn't surprise me if the Nicelanders do slander Ralph if they ever leave the game, since Ralph, as his game shows, is easily angered and brutal in what he does as he smashes a whole building into rubble and then grabs and tosses one of the Nicelanders off screen during the cut scene before the game starts properly. Hmmm... actually maybe that's why most treat him as a threat; they fear his easily angered persona could get activated. Most see him as a walking time bomb, even when it's clear there is more to him than being angry or easily angered and destructive. In reality he holds his anger back really well (he puts up with Vanellope shit talking up a storm before his anger takes over and he takes it out on a jaw breaker) and if he breaks anything outside of during a game, its usually an accident (his entrance to the party where he accidentally "kills" Felix with falling rubble wasn't on purpose, and the cart building section in Sugar Rush). They hear he's an angry guy so they distance themselves from him to prevent him from using that anger on them, especially if it's outside their own game. It's in his code to be angry, so he can't help it when he does get angry, so they write him off as "he's the angry bad guy, don't cross him or else." And clearly there is some bias given the characters we see at Bad Anon the classic baddies like Bowser, Eggman, and Clyde need to have a such a support group to boost one another's confidence outside the game. Because they play the role the bad guys with whatever character traits hard coded into them. most of the game characters give them a wide space it seems.

i do think vanellope can be translated to people with disabilities you know? sometimes neurodivergent people can do things better than neurotypical people and in this case her glitching makes things harder in life a bit but it also makes her better at what she does? can't really articulate the thought but you get it ++ people making fun of her for it seems pretty accurate to life too (sadly)
@zaynab-to-a
@zaynab-to-a Жыл бұрын
Yeah, that makes sense. I think Helen Keller once said that disabilities are a neutral thing, and that it's really just your circumstances and the society you live in that determines what's "good" or "bad" about it.

@@HannahsxThat is a good point, the disability itself is definitely a factor, but if we were in a society where your condition was more well-known and more common, it probably would be much better researched and treated. Disney has really lost its ability to create decent villains recently. I feel like King Candy is one of the last. They don’t all have to have a tragic backstory. Sometimes they can just be selfish and manipulative and their childhood trauma doesn’t factor. It doesn’t detract from the story. Edit: you guys just made the same observation 😂

40:14 - Soda has a lot of acids and sugars in it. You can use soda as a marinade in order to tenderize meat, and the sugars will cook down to a glaze. It's a poor man's substitute for meat tenderizer and barbecue sauce, basically. Not ideal, but if you've got a cheap cut of meat and a 50c can of Dr. Pepper you might cobble together a decent meal.

I like to think that the king candy bug isn’t actually king candy. It’s the baby bug that Ralph brought with him from hero’s duty and it’s just wearing king candy’s face. And when he says “I should thank you.” He means thanking him for bringing him into sugar rush in the first place.

Or part of sanitation or something like that? He's actually pretty fast at taking things apart and breaking them down, so if you needed a really strong person to demolish something you didn't want, or if you had garbage and no trash compactor, Ralph would be pretty *HAND*y to have around. He can't build very well, but he can clear away areas for other things to be built on.

If you’re even a little bit of a music person, that movie will absolutely slay you dead it’s a perfect parody of musician biopics and still somehow tugs on the heartstrings. John C. I loved this movie because it was different. Also I support everything Alan Tudyk is in. As a very long time Stevie Nicks fan, I respect your opinion on her, but disagree. 👩🏻‍🦰😉 Thanks for this, I enjoyed it immensely. ❤

It’s about the reaction of mentos and Diet Coke specifically. The science experiment was very trendy around that time.

I'm way too old to have "done the video game arcade thing," so Ralph's story is what drew me in. The Bad-Anon meeting's motto turned out to be central to this otherwise unfamiliar story. "I'm Bad and that is Good. I Will never be Good and that's not Bad. There's no one I'd rather be than me." When Ralph leaves to "win a medal," Fix-It Felix and the Nicelanders discover that their game doesn't work without Ralph. Messing up a combat game and crashing into a racing game brings him face-to-face with another "misfit character." Joining forces with Vanellope leads to another game crisis, in which he "finds a way." A lot better than "Wreck-It Ralph 2," which undid everything accomplished by the original tale. Oh well, "one-and-done" is good enough today. But then, there's always "Gravity Falls" (2012-2016). kzbin.info/www/bejne/o6LGdYuVhL6DqKs
