The Honest Bunch is an audio-visual podcast that focuses on discussing real millennial and Gen Z issues with no holds barred.
There are 4 main personalities on the show - Nedu, Husband Material, Deity Cole, and Ezinne. The cast members bring their unique individual personalities and wit to the show. Occasionally, a guest is brought on to share opinions on topics tailored to their experiences, interests, or personalities.
At Honest Bunch, we are telling original Nigerian realities from the lens of the youth.
The show is stupendously funny, inconceivably revealing, somewhat shocking, and yet unequivocally informative.

As Dr Apoki mentioned Dr Nwankwo tears came out of my eyes. I still remember him very well, one of his shoes is always bigger than the other (it's a medical condition). I was always sick as a child people knew me because of my sickness I knew almost all hospitals and Doctors in Aba. Until we met Doctor Nwankwo He told my Mum that all those Doctors knew my problem but bcus we had no money I was left to die. Long story short. Doctor Nwankwo perform the surgery free of charge. The day I was going home we were waiting for bus at Okigwe Rd by Faulks Rd and he saw us and offered to take me home in his Mercedes Benz. God bless his soul. Today God has blessed me beyond my imagination and I will continue to give back.

Nice show, but you guys really need to work on balancing the show, especially when you have two guests on the show. For instance, you guys kept tackling the young guy with questions for over 40mins until Dr Charles had to raise his hand and say can I come in now? Try to balance the length of time each guest speaks whenever you invite multiple guests and don't just keep going and going with one guests as if the other guest is non-existent. Just my observation.

I met Dr Apoki sometime in 2010 during my NYSC, my cousin invited me for a church programme and he was one of the guest speakers, his preachings were different, and factual. No sugarcoating or anything. He talked about one of his books at the time, "Money is an Idiot". You should read the book, very enlightening. I have followed his teachings since then. Great man.

There was nothing good about colonialism, the seed that was sowed by colonialism in the 50's and 60' 's is what the West are enjoying today and it's what we are suffering today in África. The reason your parents enjoyed at the beginning was because the seed that was sowed was still in it's infancy stage, it's going to get worse than this if we don't start doing something about it now, we are regressing instead of progressing. We have drifted far away from our real traditions and cultural core values, we are psychologically pandering to the western values, that's the real problem we are facing in Africa. At least Ghanaians are trying in keeping their traditions compared to Nigerians that wants to be whites by all means.

Nedu isn't a really smart person. He talks a lot of rubbish. The group give him reference cos he's a successful comedian. Husband material is a really intelligent guy. He's the brains Nedu surrounds himself with...and to be honest they make a good pair. When Husband material disagrees he knows how to do so intelligently without bias or conflict. The guest is there to tell their story not to be judged. Nedu needs to learn this. He should learn to keep his stupid related stories and opinions to himself when he interviews guests. I like Nedus comedy but some conversations don't need comedy. When it needs intelligence he should let Husband material lead. He does it well.

Yes his life get better even before he came to this podcast, because 1st of all he has med the Lord and that's what promt him to come out with the conviction of Holy Spirit. Like i said he did 13 years in the institution of yahoo i did 10 and that expose me to a lot of good things and shape me to be who I'm today. I left Nigeria to become a BUMPER MAN in South Africa. one of the things i keep thanking God for is that without leading me through the instructions of yahoo I won't have known the value of marriage and how is affecting our society today. Because of those people we call clients maga or mugu it's due to the failure of their marital life that's what led many of them to become a victim of yahoo boys. I'm not justifying what i did no! like David said in psalm 51-3 my sins are ever before me, I'm always grateful to God for teaching me throughout that means. Salute SMITH God bless you.

Honest bunch you are doing well, however, if you're going to invite 2 guests, learn how to balance the time you give each of them to speak and participate in the conversations. The young man had your attention for about 40mins until Dr Apoki brought himself into the conversation, then it became a one way traffic all through. Find a way to work this out, it doesn't look good. Great show all the same.
@GideonOjukwu

In a 2 hours+ show, having 40 mins attention from a 2 guest appearance and 4 man hosts is a whole lot of time already given to you.
@Sr.IfeeKings
@Sr.IfeeKings 3 ай бұрын
I think some people just like unnecessary arguments. If you watched the entire video you would understand the angle I'm coming from. Started an interview where two people are invited, gave the first 40 mins or so to one person, without saying word to the other guest until he interjected and came into the conversation by himself, then from that moment, nothing else was said to the other guest for the remaining part of the show, which is 1hr plus, except when one of the host threw a question or two at him before the end, Nedu even interrupted his answers and he had to ask for more time to say something in addition... so yeah, the point is knowing how to divide the time and balance it out among the participants without making a guest feel left out for a long time.

I find it funny when smith was told if he had made it big he wouldn't have opted out, the question should be do you ever make it big begging for money online and even if u do, how big can it be? Well maybe we protest for Hushpoppis release so he could be invited over to educate us on his formats like smith just did.. I remember trying yahooing for like 3 months with no pay like bella Shmurda did, well maybe I should have been a little patient and just maybe if I had "picked" the story would have been different!! 🧸 Smith am 26 and just like u Nigeria is too far behind to relate to guys with hearts like yours, my advice for you is if u ever get the help you need let it be a no return ticket out of Nigeria like me even though am just backdoor Ghana, at least I have my sanity, cus I wouldn't want to end up like Mohbad.. This is the difference between communication and noise. Dr Charles is communicating while someone like Soyinka will be blowing grammar that nobody understands bc he is more interested in impressing listeners with vocabularies than impacting knowledge. Dr Charles has all the lingos to educate to a level that everyone understands.

Dr. Apoki's kind of motivational speeches is very rare in this part of our world. In Warri where I live, I listen to his every Wednesday's speeches in one of the radio stations in Warri. He is an intelligent human being. If you put Dr. Apoki and either pastor or Alfa for me to pick whom to listen to in terms of motivational speeches and advise in life, honestly I will not hesitate to pick Dr. Apoki because whatever he tells you is what he does and what it is. I am happy to see him here.

Nedu I will not agree with you on this one. It’s not really this guys forth because d message should be; parents understand your kinds. A child of 20/22 will not no fully what he is doing because of youthful exorbirant & most children even like me then will not take any advice from if you are forcing it on me( different stroke 4 different fokes) & pls net time don’t allow d guy to talk about his format because this youths will want to grab that part. Nice job u guys are doing but I disagree with Nedu on this episode. Love u guys
